This is what people fail to understand. Islam isn't like Catholicism or CofE, where there's an undisputed head. and even in those religions, there are different strands (e.g. Opus Dei, Jesuits, etc.) There are a number of different Islamic sects, mainly Shia and Sunni but there are other smaller ones. Within those top level sects, there are different belief sets (e.g. the Wahhabist movement, which is a belief set in Sunni Islam). Islam & Judaism are largely based on individual communities and places of worship. There's no one who speaks for these with a single voice.

Well all the voices should unite with the same message, regardless of which sect or strand they belong to.

I'm absolutely shocked/gutted and saddened to hear this such miserable news. It's just a huge shame, how these terrorist attacks in 2015 have plagued the oldest European capital and also the capital of one of the first nations to industrialize.

With this, there is a security concern with Euro 2016. With the Euro 2016, these radical groups will be extra feisty to cause terrorism. Too many tragedies recently. RIP.

People inside the theater are communicating with journalists. One journalist on CNN said his sources indicate the people inside are begging the French to raid the theater. The hostages takers aren't there to negotiate.
