AVB described Shatov being "one of best" player of the Russian league, when asked about him. He also said the club will be working their best to secure a contract extension for Shatov but he is not surprised to see foreign interest in Shatov.

Isn't being the best player in Russia similar to being the tallest dwarf in the village?

I've never seen this guy play and have no intention of doing so but I cannot see City buying a player from Russia, I imagine he'll go to another league such as Germany

I wouldn't go as far as that, to undermine the Russian league, it has many good players. But can I ask you something? Are you German? Your name sounds a bit German.

Actually, some journalists in Russia have reported City have apparently showed interest in Shatov and are monitoring him for the time being. Yes, while you are correct about Germany as he is being target by Dortmund atm. But I would definitely recommend you to watch him on Tuesday CL game, it's an early kick off, at 5.

Some of us have shit parents bud, I got bullied in school for having numbers in my name.

Tomorrow's early kick off at St Petersburg is a great opportunity for all fans around the world, to check out the Zenit's trio at full action against a good opposition like Valencia. Players to look out for will be Dzyuba Hulk and Shatov. Some City fans may want to look at Witsel because of the transfer link. Dzyuba, being the top scorer of the Russian League currently and also the top scorer of CL, only after Ronaldo, will be someone to also look out for. Shatov being the talented, creative, skillful, technical player with his attacking flair will be out to display his class to the clubs, who are "monitoring him". With this game, it also poses an opportunity for AVB, to cement his profile and his club along with the elite clubs in the CL, boasting an impressive 5 games in a row in the all prestigious CL. Although, the winter in Russia may be a detrimental factor for Zenit to achieve their goal.

Who are in flying form after managing to hold the mighty Las Palmas to a 1-1 draw at home in their last league game while keeping European behemoths Gent to a one goal deficit in their last CL outing in the group of death.

With the upcoming Star Wars movie here are some Star Wars shatfacts:

Shatov was going to be in the new Star Wars movie but it was decided it was unfair on the dark side

Shatov’s free kicks can make the Kessel run in 1 parsec

A Shatov freekick can destroy the deathstar with the shields still up

Shatov trained Yoda

The force isnt with Shatov, Shatov is the force

I would say Valencia and Lyon are both better than Monchengladbach and Sevilla. Current form anyways. You can't comment about the opposition being bad. Valencia and Lyon are from the Spanish and French leagues respectively, which are one of the best leagues in Europe in terms of quality.

Stat Bank: Zenit's Trinity have been involved in every single Zenit's goal this campaign, either assisting or scoring. While the trio is responsible for 80% of all the entire team's goals in the CL. Only Messi Suarez Neymar are ahead statistically this year.

The same Moenchengladbach that are unbeaten in 10 in all comps having played Juventus twice, Wolfsburg, Schalke and Augsburg in that time in a stronger league than Lyon's? The same Sevilla that have beaten Barcelona and Real Madrid in the last 6 weeks?

But but but Messi doesn't count apparently.
