If Guardiola was as nailed on as people seem to think he is, there's no way I can see Ancelotti coming in as a caretaker for a few months, ESPECIALLY as he's stated many times that he's taking a year out of the game.

What if it is Pep in the summer, what sense would make to sack MP now if there's not a decent European manager that would take the job for 6 months?

I'd be surprised if we couldn't get someone for 6 months as other teams manage it - however, someone internal would be better than MP at the moment.

I firmly believe that if Pellegrini is left in charge, we will not finish in the top 4. Bereft of ideas, completely clueless tactically and arrogant beyond belief.

Sack him now - and as to who to replace him with? Well, there will be a queue of top quality managers stretching from here to Timbuktu to take the job in the knowledge that this club is ready to take off.

Allegri would be worth a look at imo but not as caretaker.

Pep gets a call this week and he either takes the job now or we move on from him forever.

We cant keep hanging managers out to dry whilst the Pep pantomime is played out in the background.

I think it is fair to say he is close to his limits as a manager now. We can still win stuff with him, but we won't dominate competitions like we should with the squad we have.
If however you are looking at us and thinking this squad should be a beast with no remorse then yeah you may be thinking he may need to go.
It should be noted we have had some shitty injuries and we are still right in it regarding all competitions.

I will give him time but my defense of him is not as stout as it was.

Yes. He won't explain his tactics, nobody else understands his tactics, the players are down (and that's the manager's job to sort), apart from today he usually waits until the 70th minute to sub anyone. If the dressing room is a s exciting as listening to his pre-match reviews then no wonder the team look disinterested and confused. Bottom line - this team should be performing way above the current level. Think Rogers/Klopp and Pellegrini/Guardiola?

Your right , because MP is getting next to nothing from these players , and in any other walk of life , achieving so little , with so much talent , he would be sacked as a manager , but i just cant see our owners , getting rid in the middle of the season.

I would sack pellers if we were at chelsea's position, or far behind top 4 but we are not, sacking in mid season is hardly a good idea especially when you dont have a replacement lined up and in our case we just dont need a replacement we need a quality replacement which so far it seems might be pep, some of the players also take a hard look at themselves and they shouldn't be getting bossed by the likes of stoke,
in our best interest it would be wise if we keep him and back him fully and then decide at the end of the season

Since West Ham, Chelsea have scored more points than us.
