I think you need to look up knee jerk again. This shit has been going on for a while now. Nothing knee jerk about it.
 
Just to play devils advocate....isn't the style and formation we play also dictated in a sense by those above?

This holistic thing was that throughout the club we could play the same way? The same style of attacking football with the high line of midfield and defense?

What a good call , VK is not having a great season due to injuries , and will probably play very few games this season , but the players respect him , and he loves the club ,and wears his heart on his sleeve, shows passion and commitment , leads by example total opposite to Pellegrini , a great shout.
 
Yes we have loads of injuries but he tries to play the same way,no wonder we are getting battered
Just go pragmatic and grind out the points,it's not too much to ask surely
Plus he seems to keep saving players for CL,he seems more desperate for that for his c.v than the league

We needed Delph, Diniho and Fernando to protect MDM. He's shot anyone apart from the manager can see that.

Don't get me started on Bony starting over Nacho again, Clichy should have also given Kolarvo a rest.

Im pissed off but all this no chance of winning it talk is ridiculous.

Of course we have a chance of winning the league although performances like Liverpool and today wont help.

In total agreement with this. If Pep doesn't come we're screwed, C A is available now and as tricky says our present side would/could be devastating on the counter.

Ha ha ha - give his job to Komapny? Fuck me rigid - panic has really set in on here and heads have gone - flinging out utter bullshit responses now - Talkshite and Rag Caff posters are gonna read this and have a field day - then the same posters will be moaning about that too. Kompany?? Kompany as manager????

People laugh this suggestion off but we are dire at the minute. I can't comfortably predict us winning any game and nothing is nailed on this season. If the owners want the CL they Definately won't get it with him in charge so why not just make the change. This pep obsession is killing us.
 
I've never particularly rated him but at the beginning of the season I actually thought I was wrong, the way we started in those first 5 games. Now though it's plainly obvious he really is a fucking clueless clown.

Harsh, I know, but correct.

It's times like this where you have to be bold and just sack him, then you shake the tree and see what drops.

Post of the thread so far and very much the situation at play right now whether we like it or not.
 
I would but City fear the negative backlash they'd face from Media, which is 90% of what we get from them anyway, with us regularly depicted as the pantomime villian on football. This side is hugely underperforming under Pellegrini's guidance we should be at least 6 points clear atm but we're still dithering looking good one week and hapless the next.

We brought him in to make big strides in CL and he's even managed to balls that up on numerous occasions and scrape us into rounds of 16. Tony Pulis would do about the same job than Manuel with the players we have.
 
A few of us have been pointing to his tactical weakness for quite a while, but the quality of the squad has kept us competitive. The more time he spends with the team the worse we get, and you get the feeling he needs his best players fit to pick up results consistently. This isn't the mark of a top manager and I won't be sad to see him go. If not Pep, then who? Fuck it, I'm going to mention Simeone again. Doing a fantastic job at Athletico with limited resources. There's no way the players would perform like that today and get away with it. Passionate, tactically astute and a track record of success. One of the most promising young managers around who's destined for the very top of the game imo.

Slightly tongue in cheek, but I'm deadly serious when I say I dont think he could do any worse. Great players woefully underperforming.

steady on mate thats positive talk..... won't be welcomed on here. We are only in 4 competitions you know - things could all go tits up at any moment.

just seen someone advocating making Kompany as player manager to the end of the season - now thats the sort of stuff you should be saying blueinsa - Lol !!
 
The trouble is, who would take over, wish we knew for sure if Pep was coming at the end of the season
