Angelino

I remember reading somewhere that his loan with New York was until January so it would make sense that he couldn't play until then. The pictur I saw of him was in first team training standing next to big nick and he didn't look much smaller maybe 5"9-5"10 and he's still only 18. I really think he is the type of player pep would love if he does in fact take charge in the summer.

If he has grown/filled out a bit then I'd like to see him tried as a midfield 'rotation' player. I would be worried about trusting him at fullback at this stage but he's a really good footballer & alongside our players, I think he could possibly do a job coming off the bench & taking the strain off the squad. If he isn't quite at it, he'll still work fucking hard whilst he's on. Not really a risk as such.

I'm hoping that Pellers will trust young players more simply if they've had first team football somewhere during his reign. This would indeed then include Angelino, and the fact that he's been training with the first team since he got back can't exactly do him any harm. He's not been with the EDS at all, like Kelechi in that aspect. Could be they see him slightly differently now... Fingers crossed.

I agree nev if we bin Nasri we should be using Angelino and Roberts to rest Navas, Sterling, DeBruyne and Silva, Angelino has pace and a great delivery.

Does anyone know the latest situation regarding Angelino....will he be available to play for us now.

He's eligible now, yes. Whether he will be used or not is a different matter entirely as I heard a rumour that if he plays for City he's not eligible for another loan then (two clubs per season rule) so there's that factor.

That can't be true though? As George Evans has been linked with a loan to the Championship, despite playing in the League Cup for us and being on loan at Walsall? Surely if he could only play for two clubs in a year then no one else could loan him?

Come to think of it, that sounds like utter bollocks doesnt it? Sorry! I dont know in that aspect but someone linked to City told me he wouldnt be eligible if he played for City for another loan, whatever the reason is. Sooooo....yeah. Ha. Dunno why. But thats what i was told, but it could be wrong.

You can't have 3 permanent clubs I think it is

I posted this earlier:

Reading the following I think he can register for 3 clubs (pretty sure that's 100% right) and play for all 3 because of the season overlaps.

http://resources.fifa.com/mm/docume...sstatusandtransfer_2015_e_v051015_neutral.pdf

5.3. Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected.

Pretty sure the MLS counts as an overlapping league so he should be fine.

Yeah why not. Clichy is only just back from a serious injury himself, and the rate of games at this time of year...you have to think he's got a decent chance of at least a cameo or the FA cup game in 2 weeks.

If true this highlights just how good he could be?

With Kolarov out he certainly deserves a chance to prove himself

Although he looks very promising if we can get a good few for him then we have Sarmiento who looks just as good if not better.
Barca have just let there under 21 captain Alex Grimaldo go to Benfica for a very low fee as he was nearing the end of his contract, Why let Grimaldo go to replace him with Angelino who is suspect defensively.

How much would be a good fee?
