thousands of CITIZENS will be there, but the point is if we will be happy at the end of the match..... i have a bad feeling for this final, after all those injuries .....

Livefootball tickets.com are advertising hundreds of tickets already prices from £190-£400 ,and I thought ticket touting was illegal

How come the official site is allowing you to join the league cup scheme ???
why not let people join, we have 31000 and I reckon probably around 18 - 22 thousand on lge cup scheme, dangle the carrot of joining and they will be hoping that all the new joiners will renew for the scheme next season, for me though, most people are going to get a ticket anyway, but it is a good move on the clubs part

all the resale sites have them for sale, it is legal, it has always been the way, tourists love to pay any price for the final,

I understand what ur saying but we have far more sc holders than tkts for wembley so what would happen if everyone decided to join the scheme ? Not that they will but they could which would then leave some people who had been on the scheme from the start without a tkt . It won't stop me getting tkts but I'm saying it could stop others .

i.ve been going donkeys years and quite a few season ticket holders don't go to Wembley. mostly the older generation who just don't see the point now they are so old, we have a lot of older people in the stand my mate being one of them, for Stoke he never went and never claimed his ticket, he is not the only one I know either who wont go, by the way, to us it seems crazy that someone would attend every home game but cant be arsed going to Wembley, but it does happen

On the flip side I no fans that won't go but will still buy a tkt and pass it on which is there right. I just don't think fans should be allowed to join a scheme once we are in a final. It won't happen but I'd be pissed off if this happened and I missed out. It's strange that you can't join the champs league scheme when it's only the last 16 ?

I'm one of them!

I'm 62 and have been going every week since 1965. Went to Wembley in 69, 70, 74, 76, 81 and Stoke, the 2 FA Cup semi's at Villa Park and also went to Vienna in 70, even did the Charity Shield at Villa Park one year

Didn't do Wigan or Sunderland or the recent semi's and Charity Shield

I have a season ticket in CB1 and do the CL but not the FA or League cups as I'm not working at the moment and haven't worked for 13 months now, still looking for something though

Happens more than you think. Some just can't make it, some just don't bother. Some buy tickets and pass them on to mates or family. The more we get to Wembley, the less of a big deal it is. My Dad and his mate aren't going this time but they've been to all the others.

I have a mate who isn't going and two clients who didn't go against Sunderland and are not going to this as they don't go to CO cup games. They don't sell on their tickets. There will be lots like this and even more so as we won it 2 years ago. Add that to the poor kick off time, aging fan base, expensive trains and late get back with schools the next day and there will be some who just don't fancy it.

Now we have more ST holders I guess it will still sell out to ST holders but I wouldn't be surprised if someone who only bought one this year and isn't in the cup scheme will get one.

I know people who have followed City for decades, been to hundreds of games. But only at Maine Rd or the Etihad.

There will also be season ticket holders who will upgrade, buy Club Wembley or corporate packages, rather than buy from City.

That's more or less exactly how I see it, although I'd say there are many more young fans coming in at the bottom end than old ones at the top end, if you know what I mean.

My guess is that there's a chance of this going on sale to Cityzens with points. Maybe even at a push to "purchase history" people.

Seems wrong that ST holders with high points can join the scheme now and effectively jump the queue and get first choice on Wembley seats when they might not have been to the previous rounds at the Etihad.

There's no way they will let people join the scheme now. None. That would totally screw the current selling criteria up, and also demotivate people to join next year.

Not a chance - didn't happen against Sunderland and there are more Season Ticket holders now.
The only thing that that could counter this would be the KO time and that people might think there could be trouble with the dippers in the same way as the rag FA semi.
