There's no way they will let people join the scheme now. None. That would totally screw the current selling criteria up, and also demotivate people to join next year.
This is exactly what is happening . I no a couple of friends that have signed up to this online this morning .

Not a chance - didn't happen against Sunderland and there are more Season Ticket holders now.
The only thing that that could counter this would be the KO time and that people might think there could be trouble with the dippers in the same way as the rag FA semi.
You might be right but I'm not so sure. I don't think anyone will worry about trouble but I think the Wembley novelty factor is going and Sunday teatime is rubbish and inconvenient.

My entirely unscientific survey of my mates shows that EVERYONE wanted to go to the 2011 Semi and Final, a few missed the Wigan and Sunderland finals and a few more are going to miss this one. But our fanbase is increasing and there are definitely many more casual fans who will want to go which might offset this.

Well City will cancel it then as soon as they get wind of the error. There would be uproar amongst Cup Scheme members if they didn't. That would include me. I only join it so I can easily get Wembley tickets.

we wont get anywhere near the amount of tickets we had for sunderland released through the normal loyalty point/supporters club channels
A london final against liverpool will see a lot of tourists with tickets in our end,it might be easier to join the antwerp branch if youre not on the cup scheme

It's the same with us , join the schemes to easily get final tkts but now someone who only just joined is above me in priority!

Agree with this. The scousers' London support will mean there will be a big demand from them and they will certainly be in our end. Not that it mattered but there were a number of Sunderland fans sat quite near to us in the last final.

Well if u no anyone who is a sc holder and isn't on the scheme tell them to try joining and I guarantee they will be able to 100%.

I totally believe you that they can click the button, but I would be absolutely stunned if it wasn't an error which they correct.

It actually shows on there cup scheme membership that they have joined it took card payment details aswell . The only 1 it won't let you join is the champs league scheme.

They will be cancelled. The club are aware of it and will be taking steps to cancel them. I just rang to upgrade a Leicester ticket and asked them. He answered straight away with that.

On reading this last couple of pages, I have just joined the League Cup Scheme and it allowed me. Added 200 loyalty points as well.
If City cancel then I have no beef, only fair. But it is quite an oversight.

think I'll join the league cup scheme now - knowing the ineptitude of the ticket office there's a good chance a few might be missed?

worth a punt

May sound a daft question. But I have ended up with a few hundred more loyalty points than my old man as I signed up to Platinum last few years and he hasn't. Typical that I qualify for a ticket a day before him.

If we are to sit together, will I have to wait til the day he qualifies and then buy both tickets? Usually both make it to FA cup semis and easily made Sunderland. Will just be my luck to miss out by waiting this time though.

Cheers

Either wait or get a ticket 'up top' the lower level ones will go quickly.

My lad has slightly more points than me but isn't on the cup scheme so I'm getting one towards the front of the top tier and he'll pick one up close by once he's eligible.
