Our glaring weakness at LB, will it be fixed?

Wendell, Ric rod, Gaya, Bernat, Sandro are amongst many at leftback who are available. Its at Right back that there is a huge lack of targets of top quality. Zaba most likely to Inter and sagna get a 1 year extension

doubt Alex Sandro is available, he just signed for Juventus last summer.

Denayer will own that. But at a push, check out Bruno Perez at Torino. I think he is a baller! Someone suggested Caicara at Wolfsburg. There are a few good right backs. We just have to scout present performances rather than rely on history and name recognition.

Yeah i rate Denayer, but we still need to use him as a cb aswell. a lot of games evey season and we see how many gets injured under Pep and now. We will need two on each position, possibly with Zaba off and Sagna given a 1 extension we need another rb. Angelino could work as 2nd lb cuz i cannot care anymore about Kolarov and Clichy...

Fullbacks we should look at.

Right Backs: Carvajal (dodgy situation with Danilo), Mario Gaspar, Bruno Peres, Coleman, Aurier and De Marcos.

Left Backs: Gaya, Bernat, Ric Rod, Sandro and Ghoulam.

I'd love to get Fanbinho and the lad who plays for Club brugge. He's Also Belgiums national teams prefered right back.

Edit: Meunier was his name, he looks promising!

I liked the look of Robertson at hull when we played them a few months back, home grown, young and would be a good replacement for kolarov, seemed more attack minded

Delph has all the attributes to be a really good left back IMO.

I'm not sure Delph is technically good enough to play centre midfield in a Guardiola team, so left back would be a good position for him where he can utilise his pace and stamina.

If Danny Rose can make that switch, then Fabian Delph is capable.

Agreed. I think this will be one of the first things Pep does.

You could take lb and rb off napoli - ghoulam and hysaj - for under 30m and they're quality players.
Ghoulam yes , Hysaj, no.

We should sign smart, as PSG are with fullbacks. They are not looking at Bruno Peres at Turino, who is veeeeery underrated.

Yeah, Delph will be like Rose. Don't know if that's good enough though. Think he'd be better in the middle trying to keep it simple. Like Sedou Keita did when he was at Barca under Pep. I think Delph is one of those player who will be all ears when Pep gets here. I see him as a consistent role player in misfield under Pep.

Also, I think any player can play under Pep if he listens. You might not have the tools to run Pep's team, but you can be a piece of you work hard. And I believe Delph will.
