Our glaring weakness at LB, will it be fixed?

Yeah, Delph will be like Rose. Don't know if that's good enough though. Think he'd be better in the middle trying to keep it simple. Like Sedou Keita did when he was at Barca under Pep. I think Delph is one of those player who will be all ears when Pep gets here. I see him as a consistent role player in misfield under Pep.

Also, I think any player can play under Pep if he listens. You might not have the tools to run Pep's team, but you can be a piece of you work hard. And I believe Delph will.

The problem with Delph is that he is not disciplined enough and tries to get forward too often when he should be concentrating on what he is good at which is defending. I don't think he's technically good enough to play for us at left back. Decent backup in midfield if he's willing to sit on the bench.

Yep that's my view. And I'm absolutely certain he will not go rogue, if Pep tells him to stay in the middle. It will be stupid to disregard Pep's instructions. And Delph is not stupid.

I personally think the first season will be a clear 433, then moving on to 2-1-4-2-1 with clear instructions to function just like Bayern is tonight. Flawless machine. Delph and Navas will be use a lot in wider role such as wingbacks ofc, we have a lot of games and everyone will play a lot of games. Games that those who are leaving (fernando, clichy kolarov, yaya, bony, demi etc) wouldnt be able to keep up the pace and energy that pep requires from everyone for it to work. Amazing times ahead.

"IF TRUE"....Cant believe we didnt do more to get this guy....Could have/should have gone after him last summer when he was in last year of his contract and before signing with Juve......

RUMOURS: Manchester United & City have bids rejected for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro http://dlvr.it/KcvJd9
i think the figures couldnt go over what we spent that summer by even 19m... think we used all fund we could inside the FFP rules at the time and we missed out... Although i would've sold Clichy and Kolarov for this lad last summer.
