Considering our abject point tally against the top 8 this season I would take the point all day long.Even more depressingly, I'd probably take that at the moment.

Poppycock!I am done with this manager.
Maybe he's making it easier for his next side "Zenit" to compete next season. Very likely he won't have to face "Manchester City Football Club"
A Job well executed in my opinion!!! Great statergy.
Manager does take blame but to say it's pointless not criticising the players is, IMO, so far off the markPointless criticising the players. When a team performs as poorly as we do on such a consistent basis, there is only one guy responsible and that's the Manager. The only other thing to say is hopefully after that performance we can cut out all the player interviews to the press on how we can still win the league. Vinnie in particular should keep his gob shut to the press until our performances warrant saying something. I wonder what tactical master stroke Manuel will pull against Manure next week. His handling of the Bony/Kelechi situation has the potential to damage both players. 'Right son, I know there's only 10 minutes left and the Premier league is at stake, but you can still win the game for us. Oh, no pressure like....
Whatever you say about a player, the manager is responsible for putting them on the pitch. What is the point of me saying Bony is shit when it's obvious to everyone except our manager that we don't play to his strengths, he is devoid of confidence and he doesn't look fit. But Pellers plays him in front of our brightest prospect anyway. Or should I criticise David because he is being played out of position with a persistent ankle injury. Should I criticise the full backs throw ins when it's clear our manager doesn't bother to coach set pieces. the defence played ok yesterday so any criticism should be levelled at our attacking play. Fernando played deep so we lined up against Norwich with Fernandinho in the centre and Jesus and David wide. Fernandinho didn't look great yesterday, is that his fault or the fact that he had to look after three Norwich midfield might of put him off his stroke a little. So should I say he had a shit game? Overall, we look devoid of ideas and short of energy. Our manager believes that's the responsibility of the players. I believe it's his responsibility. If you don't train at intensity, how the hell can you expect to play at intensity. Check out any YouTube of our training regime and then check out the same with Pep. We have a hugely talented squad and that talent is sadly being under-utilised. I thank him for his 2 capital one cup wins and our Premier league title but this squad was capable of domestic domination and we have badly underperformed for the majority of his tenure. I could go on but I won't.Manager does take blame but to say it's pointless not criticising the players is, IMO, so far off the mark

That's some naughty word twisting going on there. Don't think I said anything about players responsibility. I said I wouldn't criticise them under the current management. Think those are two different things. As for YouTube, fair enough, but given neither of us have access to the training ground it's the only resource available. Based on the evidence of your own eyes, do you think this squad is well coached?I think you did go on :).
Your prerogative to have the players accept no responsibility, I disagree.
As for Utube, are you actually being serious

Horrendously predictable.Couldn't post yesterday as my mind was blown.
I don't believe there is a single blue in the world who would of picked Bony yesterday, so why does our coaches believe he would influence this game in anyway shape or form, he is quite simply a fraud, how did the conversation possibly go when debating it, coz I know if he'd of asked me I'd of laughed him out of the room.
When we coach our players why on earth do we ignore the opportunity to cross, what do we tell them, "when you get the chance to cross ignore it, take a touch and play the ball back and try and get the chance to cross again! It will work fellas, it's a new theory trust me no one will suss it".
Horrendous team selection, horrendous tactics. Horrendous outcome.
Fought for their lives is not correct at all, it was a fucking doddle for them, no crosses to defend, corners as weak as possible, bony on a deckchair, navas running like a broken wind up toy, their keeper was smoking a hamlet second half, as for our defending it was even required, they spent the most part advancing and giving the ball away. Defending they did not, Fernando and bony took no part in the game and should of been warming the bench.I've not read the rest of thread, but I'll assume it was all Pellegrini's fault, and none of the players, as that is how these threads usually go when we fail to pick up three points.
I actually didn't think we played that badly, but, and its a huge but, wtf are we doing in front of goal ? I haven't seen the passing stats from the game, but what did we have 800-900 passes ? Mostly completed I would imagine, so I'd like to know how we only managed to have three shots on target, and not one in the second half.
For much of this season we have been poor defensively, but I can't fault any of them yesterday, I thought we looked very solid, and both FB's got forward well. The midfield too, played OK, I thought Fernando played well, with only 1 error that I can remember, Fernandhino wasn't at his best, but still had a decent game, and got forward well at times. I thought Silva had a good game too, certainly better than he's been recently, despite being constantly fouled again.
The real issue yesterday was our attacking options, they were ALL shite, have they forgotten how to shoot ? To me they didn't seem interested in playing for the rest of the team, just themselves (or not at all in one case). Aguero seemed to spend most of his time coming back into midfield, where he wasn't needed, Navas was Navas at his worst, how many crosses did he hit at the defender ? Bony was just anonymous again. Sterling when he came on didn't do anything of note, and Kelechi, while he got around a lot, didn't really get into any decent positions, but was probably the pick of the bunch, just for his effort.
So what was missing ?
What else could Pellegrini have done to win the game ?
Some credit also has to go to Norwich, who looked well organised at the back, and fought for their lives, unlike Villa last week.

Bang on. We weren't as abysmal as people on here say, but that's to be expected straight after the game. As for Norwich, absolutely dire, with no ambition whatsoever.I've not read the rest of thread, but I'll assume it was all Pellegrini's fault, and none of the players, as that is how these threads usually go when we fail to pick up three points.
