Norwich VS city post match thread

We played far too long with 10 men.... Bony is the biggest waste of space since Steve Mcpointalot..... FFS Pellers should be sacked just for putting him in the team.
We were wank today... lots of meaningless posession and a massive lack of urgency. If Pellers cant see that Kelechi is a much better fit than Bony then he should fuck off

Think some of the blame has to be shared by the players and management. When, in the last minute, Silva has the ball and is ahead of the Norwich midfield, he does his pirouette and allows them all back into position; we lose our advantage and we lose any cutting edge. The players have been conditioned to keep possession so as to wear the opposition down, but they've been conditioned to to such an extent that they've worn out their natural verve, and no player seems capable of acting on impulse and breaking free from the pattern.

Still cannot win 2 in a row and many were dreaming on winning 8-9 in a row. Well dream on.
Our challenge for the season is to finish in Top 4.

Frustrating, frustrating, and frustrating. There are no other words to describe this match. The lack of attacking movement needs to be addressed quickly, or else it will cost us more points.

The moment I saw Norwich sat back I thought we would likely win. But fate and City simply won't let me have a few more days of happiness. The only positivity I found was a pretty solid defence and decent passing (not losing the ball too much), but then Norwich didn't pressure us much.

Can we blame Jon Moss? Was that a decent shout early on for handball in the area? And they should have been down to ten men for the last 20 min for that foul outside the
box.

Too many stationary players - Fernando, Sagna, Bony the biggest culprits

We also have a player in Sterling who doesn't do what he's good at. If he's not running at the opposition he is a waste of space. Any manager worth anything would be drilling into him to get the ball out of his feet and to run at his defender. On thge few occasions he has done so he has been really good

We're not going to win the CL so the season is over in March ...again. Pellegrini should have been sacked a year ago (better yet he shouldn't have even been given the job)

Given all the circumstances this PL campaign has been nothing short of a disgrace.

Stationary players, players not doing what they should be doing etc is all about gameplan, tactics, coaching and drills on the training pitch. You can point fingers and trot out the sacrificial scapegoats but you could improve these same players just by having a plan or at least a plan for this one game and playing to strengths or (drumroll) not having a sacked coach in charge.

Pellers has never been a great one for tactics and is barely average at in game management but he is better than this shite. Its almost as if no one is listening to him. Or he can't be arsed. Or both.

KDB is our most important player this season. In games like this he's able to just pull some magic out of his ass last minute. You bet KDB would be sick with all these sideways passes we did and would've done something about it, whether to shoot from outside the box or a cutting through ball.

Don't talk sense here. KDB makes our team unbalanced, does not track back and shies away from every 50-50. The team that won the first 5 games will win all the remaining games as well.
Btw, after KDB was injured we have got 7 points from 6 games. Almost at relegation form.
