What was the atmosphere like v PSG?

At the start of the game when McPointy was going on about empty seats, he was talking about blocks at the very beginning. So it must have been the corporates/Uefa family (this is where @Ric was tonight........ again)
I fucking loved it when Mike Summerbee was interviewed and he said "The whole of the country is or should be behind us tonight as the only English club left in the competition. Even United fans will be behind us"
Then it went to the studio and Jug Ears asked Camel gob "do you want City to win?" and the fucking red **** couldn't even bring himself to lie and say something along the lines of "I want all English clubs to do well in Europe" He just mumbled and fumbled. Avoided the question totally until they cut for a break
Obviously, someone had a word with the Camel, because at the end he gave the team and the manager praise, but he was really scathing of the atmosphere
We once chucked a coin at his head, though, and then there was the time that Mario winked at the fucker.

It's easy work if you can get it.

I just make sure the twats don't get a penny of my money.

But I'd love to bump into camel gob in a dark alley.

From the BBC.....
But, roared on by a capacity crowd of 53,039 that supplied an unforgettable atmosphere, City held their nerve at the back before De Bruyne's decisive strike 15 minutes from time with their only shot on target.

The final whistle brought scenes of pure emotion from the fans at Etihad Stadium, who were already in uncharted territory.

England's last remaining representatives in Europe's elite club competition .....................

Nothing wrong with the atmosphere last nignt.

It's become fashionable for the likes of BT Sport to criticise it. Even after the game they were at it last night. They can't have a go at the players or the club anymore so the fans are the only ones left. It's desperate and pathetic.

I still think in general most City fans get nervous during games ( understandable given our history ) so I get why it goes quiet during some big games especially when it's 0-0

Yep childish and pathetic.

It was similar to the United game in April 12. A lot of deafening early noise, after the goal and at the end. Some lulls due to tension.

Ex-PSG player Ginola was hurting, his comments were bitter but I think he's intelligent enough to realise he should have been more professional. BT should keep paying him, because he's worth it.

Rio was hilarious. Looked like he'd just enjoyed a cup of tea and been told afterwards it had been pissed in. He talked crap but always has.

Mcpointy only perked up when they advertised the dippers game. His quote about empty seats after 5mins was shocking and he didn't mention they were filled about ten mins later, obviously people arriving late.

Atmosphere in the ground was amazing tbh, more so than previous games it felt like. Everyone was up for it.

I cant believe BT have spoilt the event on TV though, because it was amazing live and if they only fkin tried they would make more viewers by selling the dream rather than trying to peddle the negative story.... City will make their viewer base increase over the next few years if they would only fkin realise it!

So, besides the french guys sat behind me, seemingly taking the piss out of City players it was excellent.

We once chucked a coin at his head, though, and then there was the time that Mario winked at the fucker.
He also got chased out of a restaurant and had to escape through the kitchen because he was scared a few Blues we're going rip his head off (he said this himself in that interview he did with Yaya).

Steve McManaman slating us during the game saying it was a poor atmosphere and couldn't believe there were still large areas of empty seats.
From what I was watching the crowd sounded up for it and the ground looked pretty much full.

Just watched the little 3minute highlight clip on the BT Sport app and the very first thing said on the video is the commentator saying; "Great atmosphere here at Manchester City..."

They also do have the clip on there as well of Ginola saying the atmosphere was rubbish and Ferdinand saying we didn't start singing until the 76th minute though. (What a hilarious pair of cunts they come across as!)

Who would you believe though? A Frenchman wanting a Paris win and an ex-Rag or an impartial commentator?

When I was trying to watch on my dodgy stream which was the BT coverage at the start he said something like a wall of noise from the city fans
