What was the atmosphere like v PSG?

South stand level 1 was rocking all the game, never even heard paris fans sing and right next to um. I went the hamburg game and this was the best so far. Absolute great result too well done city and well done fans were the best in the world without a shadow. Bluearmy.

At the start of the game when McPointy was going on about empty seats, he was talking about blocks at the very beginning. So it must have been the corporates/Uefa family (this is where @Ric was tonight........ again)
I fucking loved it when Mike Summerbee was interviewed and he said "The whole of the country is or should be behind us tonight as the only English club left in the competition. Even United fans will be behind us"
Then it went to the studio and Jug Ears asked Camel gob "do you want City to win?" and the fucking red **** couldn't even bring himself to lie and say something along the lines of "I want all English clubs to do well in Europe" He just mumbled and fumbled. Avoided the question totally until they cut for a break
Obviously, someone had a word with the Camel, because at the end he gave the team and the manager praise, but he was really scathing of the atmosphere

Well i watched on Fox 1 and it sounded fine to me. Maybe BT cloak the sound, for some reason ?

Same here sounded like the place was rocking on FS1. Aside from the moments where they had spells of possession in their own half but that wouldn't have been painted as a downer with any other team IMO.
Were the streams on Kodi alright tonight lads? Was at the game so obviously didn't need a stream :)

Nowt like Hamburg. Paris fans were reasonably good, we were reasonably good. Similar to when the atmosphere is fairly decent for a Prem game.
You fucking what? The place was absolutely rocking all game. Best champs league atmosphere we have ever had and the loudest and most consistent I've heard it in years.

Many thanks to the thousands who stayed till the end meaning I was back in Cheadle Hulme for 10:15!

It was a cracking atmosphere. I was in the second tier of the Family Stand which is usually deadly dull but it was rocking tonight. Everyone was on their feet for the last few minutes.

I thought you didn't care about the CL!!!!! Good on you going anyway.

It was ginola who slated the atmosphere in the post match analysis. Camel gob just agreed with him when asked.

Loved it. Tense at times but I'm lying in bed now not being able to talk because my throat is sore.

It was a great atmosphere and perfectly depicted what an English crowd should be like.

Rather than non-stop boring monotone choreographed shite like they do on the continent, the crowd went with the game, roared the team on and there was singing in every corner of the ground.

Only slightly behind that Hamburg game due to it being more tense (rather than us chasing) but I can't believe they had the cheek to say there were empty seats and the atmosphere was poor. I was at the game and not watched it back yet, but I seriously can't believe the fucking bias.

City fan (?) just on Talkshite giving out loads over the number of empty seats in the family and at top of South stand. Couldn't see any on telly. Was he talking crap?

I heard him just before I arrived home! He went on about being in the family stand & how City had given out vouchers for the kids meal & yet there were empty seats around them & he could see the SSL3 & it was practically empty! I had looked all round the ground specially & he was definitely lying, the toe rag!

The atmosphere was fantastic & hardly anyone left before full time.
