Earlier in the week I thought if WHU win we can do it. Now I'm confident the guys will turn up and rise to the big occasion, just as they have before.
AguerOOOOO!!!
AguerOOOOO!!!
Can you really see them losing at home to Villa ???
Top post. @blueinsa seriously just doesn't get it.
Even though our fate CL fate is now back in our, how confident can we be that Pellegrini won't fuck it up like he did against Arsenal? Will he do what's necessary to see us through or will he see it as his final chance go out in a blaze of glory and finally prove his 442 with Bony up front and Yaya in a midfield 2 works?
He's ruined my confidence in this teams ability to get a vital win when we most need it.
Arsenal will have a shock home loss to Villa (well, they have to win at some point don't they?), WHU will beat or draw at Stoke (therefore pipping United on goal difference), United lose at home to Bournemouth as they go all out for the win and The Cherries pick them off on the break and we'll wallop Swansea with a clean sheet for Joe and a hat-trick for Sergio. It's written in the stars I tell you. They play Bournemouth.
They could do ;)
We play as well as we did on Sunday with a high intensity press and we'll be fine. Fall below that and we're fucked
Don't think many thought it was over.
I imagine most are judging on what they've seen this season and not going on blind faith. That is not reflected in the forum since we drew with Arsenal mate.
Too many are too quick to throw in the towel.
The game should be where the players go above and beyond to either show Pep they are worth looking at or other clubs they are worth buying. We need 100% effort and commitment. No Bony, no Yaya, no Kolorov.
Pics?Pepito is in town today with Arteta.
That's right

Yeah, I think they've gone to watch the jungle book.Pics?
Maybe its just an involuntary defensive mechanism which helps with the reality of that situation. You can always judge the insight and knowledge of the game of people on here when they cannot even spell the name of a player who has been with us for six years !

It's a weird season all round. We haven't beaten a top side in the league at all, have dropped points against the worst teams, generally played poorly and yet the stats show a healthy goal difference and don't we have most shots on target, too. Add to that we were one goal from getting to the CL final, just weird.Achieving 4th place will be something to take from this Premier League campaign but it will have been in spite of our performances which have been largely been disgraceful. We really don't deserve it but luckily, through the bad performance of others, we are now favorites. If we can just clinch it then we can really look forward to next season.
The silence from the media about their league position after "all the money they've spent" would be deafening. If Liverpool win their remaining games, Southampton and WHU win and the rags lose. Then the rags would finish 8th.

Even we can't cock this up now I'd have thought...
