The most telling aspect of his performance yesterday was his seeming unwillingness to use his right foot for more than just half-controlling the ball - we'd have easily won that game if he'd decided to stab the ball in with his right foot when it came back off Nordfeldt instead of trying to shift it onto his left. I hope Pep teaches him that before anything else.
Once he gets that into his game, however, and improves his touch generally (he's still a wee bit clumsy in possession) we'll have some player on our hands, as if we don't already. He needs to gather some more awareness of other options round him - Aguero was free two or three times yesterday but he didn't really look for him - but he'll be the complete striker when he does. He's quick across the ground, absolutely lethal off the ball in the box and always, always looks to get things moving forwards.
His first thought when dropping deep and receiving the ball is always "How can I keep this move going?"
He seems to be developing a knack for different types of goals as well as scoring big goals. Crystal Palace away, his first goal, was a tap in off a rebound; his second goal at Southampton was a curler from the edge; his second goal against Stoke came from rounding the keeper; his goal against Spurs came from arriving late in the box after delaying his run. He seems to have a fairly well-rounded game already. If he just makes little tweaks over the next season or two then he'll be hitting 30 goals with regular game time.
