Kelechi Iheanacho

No mate, in the thread that's been lost in here I got told how it was harder to perform against lesser opposition (fuck knows how) when my only point was Rashford had done it in much bigger games. Everyone said how Nacho is a better footballer etc which all might to turn out to be true. Which I hope and for what it's worth for me he has been one of our very few shining lights this season.

Yesterday for me was awful though, decision making was shocking, finishing very poor and the only credit you can give him on the goal is his positioning. Instinctively he looks amazing, when he has to think like the 2/3 times he went through on goal he looked slow and very indecisive. This will come with age I am very sure but it is all the niggly bits everyone wanted to miss when comparing with Rashford. As people have said if Bony had turned in that performance there would be war. Hopefully a one off and I cant wait to see his progress

Has this been merged with the Rashford comparison thread? I was hoping all the people telling me how much of a donkey Rashford is and how technically amazing Nacho is could of commented on that display yesterday. Many thanks

So let me get this straight. One of OUR players struggled but scored put in a better shift that half the other players but didn't have the game of his season and the first thing you do is come on the Internet to post in a thread where he is being compared to someone else?

And then you post a smart arse comment about not being able to find the thread where I can only imagine you would post, much to your own great pleasure, that our player is worse than Rasford, as you point out!

Pathetic that mate. Give your head a wobble.

No not at all. If the comparison thread wasn't lost in here you maybe would of seen what I was pointing out.

To start with I don't rate Rashford more, my arguments in that thread was biased City fans claiming Nacho was miles better than him (I think he is better by the way) My points back were how Rashford has done it in bigger games that's all. I then had City fans telling me how much of a better footballer Nacho was, which again might be the case but the blue tinted specs were very much on. Their comments were Rashford isn't a good overall footballer and that's what makes Nacho light years ahead of him. I was merely going to ask the question if yesterday was a performance of a technically much better footballer than Rashford that's all. Baby elephant springs to mind about yesterday.

I love him by the way and as pointed out before if you care to read it, he is one of the only few positives out of this season.

I get that pal, the way your post came across sounded like you wanted to gloat. My bad fella!

in a club like ours, the expectations are sky blue high!.. & i gues its normal given the sky high amount of ARAB money we spend as a club..
our club is like a broken vehicle dat needs lots of repairs to get it on point again..i must admit,a lot of work needs to be done..& i can only hope pep understands the magnitude of the problems were facing..and how to handle them

Can anyone else smell what I smell ?

Yesterday was not one of his best, but he did not hide, that shows a lot of character for some one of his age. The team yesterday made a lot of chances and should have got a second, this has happened far to much this season. Hopefully Pep will will create the killer touch once again.

.......Kelechi has scored more league goals (8) this season than thatch head (7) Theo (5) and Hazard (4)
The future is very bright for this young man

I think we may have to accept a few blue tinteds regarding him atm, like you i think they are both decent. Kelechi seems to have a bit more nouse but time will tell.
I have not seen enough of either to make such a judgement nor would i tbh as it is not my thing to always have a vs thing with players.

I think Kelechi has the edge atm but he will need to keep this upward trajectory going if he wants to impress Pep.

Aguero makes them sort of errors, not really an age thing knowing a pass is better than slipping on your arse from 25 yards out ;)

And what people forget is that the slip was preceded by a superb deft first touch.

The truth is anyone can slip, even Messi. It not like the slip was due to technical deficiencies...
