Neymar

but that doesn't mean mid-table Spanish sides wouldn't beat the equivalent in England, it just means they have to deal with 3 genuinely star teams in their league, they're none in the Prem. For the past 5 years the top clubs here have criminally mismanaged their transfer policies to the point that Leicester and stingy Spurs were the title contenders.

The top teams in the Prem are considerably poorer quality than those in La Liga and that's the big difference.

Just my opinion mate, some good points been made for both cases tbf.

Ok one last question......
Do you think Pep will find it more difficult to win the Prem, than he found it to win the Bundesliga and La Liga?

It will be easier to win the PL than La Liga by an absolute mile. La Liga is the hardest league to win by a mile.

the epl is the most overrated league in the world.
yall think messi neymar wouldn't put 3 goals a game past scrubs like palace and sunderland lol
It probably is but its more evenly matched, the Spanish superstars are fantastic players but no I couldn't see them getting 4/5 goals a game even against prem relocation teams.

Brazilian Mario? Quite possibly one of the worst descriptions I've ever seen on this forum. Neymar runs all day, never gets in trouble off the pitch, and actually delivers on it. He's not known for sulking and doesn't get in fights with his teammates. He's quite clearly delivering on all his potential.

So, you're saying he tracks back then?

Don't agree at all .just how low down could barca or Madrid Finnish if they were managed by the manager of the dog and duck 3rd 4th

Atletico, Barcelona or Real Madrid would win the premier league in April.

Any league where you have to beat 2 of those teams to win the league is much harder than one where Leicester fucking City can win the league a year after promotion.

I'm not so sure about that. The Premier league is more competitive as a whole which makes it more difficult to win.

So, this neymar chap.....why does everyone think suddenly he is coming? Tge fact that txixi and pep are in barca airport could be for numerous reasons ...the transfer of players being only one of them. People are clutching at straws i think

Yes it just looks like they are embarrassing themselves again. Won't happen

No it doesn't. The fact it's "competitive" aka the best teams aren't very good means you get to make mistakes and still win the league.

In la liga you can get 96 points and still lose. Pellegrini won 34 games out of 38 and still lost in his season.

Pep got 91 points and was 9 behind Mourinho.

La liga is an exercise in perfection between 3 of the 4 best teams in Europe. There's no way in hell its easier to win than the premier league.

Gotta disagree the prem has a more even split .you can call it what you want very good to average or whatever you want ,but Spain you could split very good to pub team.
Oh forgot Aston villa :-)

Just because the league is competitive doesnt mean it is any good.
It is competitive because everyone is tactically inept. Any manager with half a tactical brain can do well (tottenham came second wtf!!) . We have a tactical master and philosopher in Pep. I am sure he will he will do just fine.

Wont happen and whether we are trying to make it happen are two entirely different things. So who is embarrassing themselves? Isnt this a forum for discussion of all potential transfers and rumours etc?

But yeah, we're still little City in your mind and should be balls deep for Andy Carroll.

ps we signed Ilkay Gundongan today. Beat Bayern for DeBruyne and Aguero has been here for half a decade. Time to stop embarrassing yourself by acting like we cant look at a player like Neymar.

It may be more competitive, the difference between the best and worst teams may be smaller, that doesn't make it easier to win.

So

Hart, Sagna (plus new right back or Denyer if he is any good) Laporte, Stones, (Kompany every now and then ) and then Clichy plus new left back or the blond EDS lad

Sane Gundongen Pogpa Kroos Nasri Silva De Bruyne Fernandnio

Neymar Aguero Inniacho Streling

Job done.
