The New Top Gear, Yes or No.

I hope the people slamming it go and watch the old fogeys arrogant Clarkson, Hammond and May in their new retirement home program on Amazon doing tiresome jokes and stunts, the same old format.

BBC offer a great free service for a car racing show. It's still Top Gear with the same whacky gimmicks and stunts. It's really disrespectful to the amazing BBC Top Gear production crew to give all the credit to the past years to Clarkson, Hammond and May, the BBC have some great people working behind the scenes.

It takes time for people to get use to it. So I hope the BBC don't give in to public demand and tell everyone to watch it or feck off (people will STILL watch it who bash it believe me I know how this game works). It takes time, just like when a new manager joins a team.

I honestly don't think it was too bad.. yeah it can do with some tweaking and improvements, but gosh this is their first show, you have to give it time to grow and develop organically for Matt and Chris to make the show their own.

The character assassination on Chris Evans by the media in this has been nothing but a disgrace. Total bitterness by Clarkson's luvies.

It's far from free and Chris Evans doesn't need people to assassinate his character, the narcissistic ginger **** can manage that all by himself.

'Shakes head'

People should be blaming Jeremy Clarkson for this. If he didn't act billy big bollocks and punch someone then the Top Gear would be business as usual. He was a ticking time bomb.

BBC are getting the flack when Clarkson is the one who forced their hands to change.

Blaming Clarkson because Evans is shit?

Hahahahahaha.

The biggest criticism for Top Gear and Clarkson was that it had stopped being about the cars and was just 3 old blokes dicking about. Which was true, but for most of the Top Gear audience it was what they wanted. When Clarkson went too far and they had no option but to sack him, they could have completely revamped the show. Instead of all the stupid challenges and the same tired old nonsense they could have made the show about the cars again and brought in fresh young presenters who are both knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Guy Martin would have been perfect. They've already lost the Clarkson fanboys so it made no sense whatsoever to bring in Evans just to copy Clarksons style and use the same old formula.
Guy Martin and someone like Vicky Jolly Hockeysticks would have been perfect. I'd certainly watch the new Top Gear if they were presenting. Evans can go and fondle himself, horrible ginger ****.

Thing is, I love Clarkson but I was happy about the situation. It meant I got to watch two shows for the price of one (nothing). The problem is that Chris Evans is a failed abortion. He's unfunny, shouty, narcissistic (for some fucking reason that science could never answer) and a ginger southern ****.

The BBC had a great opportunity and fucked up and I've not a single person that disagree other than that Fanny flap defending the new show about eight posts above. And she doesn't believe it anyway.

Completely agree about Evans, but he's actually a northerner, originally from Warrington but you've never know.

It became last of the summer wine with cars and a British treasure, totally agree if Guy Martin fronted it and made it about cars it would have been a winner, can also concurre that Evans is in fact a horrible ginger ****

It's a no from me.

Top Gear is for dull suburban middle-aged people - fat men in jeans and gleaming new trainers.

Plus a few tattooed Nissan Juke owners who probably have dogs which bark all the time.
