Utter bollocks. You've absolutely no way, whatsoever, of substantiating your original 'point' .

@BlueAnorak

You didn't know we closely pursued Ter Stegen and that only ended once he decided to stay at Barca?

You think that isn't evidence of Pep being unsure of Joe/willing to replace him and there being a real risk he'd lose his spot as number one?

I see you're both deluded.

I agree re the media but not having it with Joe.

Been watching him for the last couple of seasons and his decision making is awful.

For me it's the difference between winning things on a regular basis and being also Rams as we have become.

How stupid... We've become also rans because of Harts decision making?

We have already won quite a lot with Joe in goal, if you watched the other keepers mentioned week in week out I'm sure you would see them make mistakes. Don't forget the shower he had in front of him last season and he still but in some great performances.

Joe has been gash for England in the last two games however I truly believe he will come good. Apart from Fernandinho he was our most consistent player last year. Form is temporary class is permanent. He fucked up but was the first to admit it. One of England's games will go to penalties and joe will return home a hero. Keep the faith blues

Deluded? That's rich from the one whose 'point' is based on press speculation and an overactive imagination.

Of course it's a fair point, someone else mentions they'll trust Pep, I'm making the point that he has very real doubts too. Much like blues are expressing here.

He did wish to bring in Ter Stegen, and only hasn't because he's decided to stay at Barca.

Ter Stegen would not move to be back up. He'd be number one.

Now Pep of course would've given Joe the chance to prove he could adapt to his side and demands, but I think had that moved happened the likelihood is that Ter Stegen would've become number 1.

Either way, Pep will bring in a new goalkeeper this summer and he'll be of a much greater quality than Caballero. He will compete with Joe to be number one.
You ever consider that Ter Stegen stayed at Barca because Pep told him Joe would be number 1? Or did Pep tell you for certain he doesn't trust Joe when you had your heart to heart with him?

You make a lot of strange 'fair' points for a Blue.

I genuinely think Pellegrini thought the same when he brought Willy to City. Didn't quite work out that way though did it because despite the fact that he isn't perfect (which seems to be a source of concern and amazement to some) when it comes down to it he's a shit hot goalkeeper who bails us out of the shit time and again.

Think your just looking to start a new thread on the transfer forum. Too many lemmings on here following the media line, do you not see it, plays for city so we'll over criticise and undermine. Joe is strong enough to take it on the chin and will likely save England next game, sterling however is still a kid. I pray to God the academy starts producing England quality players, media will have a difficult decision to make.

He's not a kid though is he. At 21 I'm sure there are many of us who were married, had our own kids and were working more than one job to make ends meet. I understand that we don't all mature at the same rate, but saying someone is still a kid at 21 doesn't cut it for me.

Gen question for you. At what age does he stop becoming a kid and wakes up the next morning, an adult?

Staggering - some forget what this guy has helped us to achieve, the incredible saves he has made in critical games. The fact that he is part of our recent fabric, he cares big time about the club and fans. He smiles so doesn't care yet Hodgson has come out and said Joe apologised to the players at half time for the goal. Let's not let all this get in the way of criticising him when he makes a mistake. ALL keepers do. Why is it that we continually criticise our own players I just don't get it, the media and other fans do that for us. Yes we need Gunn coming through as we need to plan for the future, but he is one of the best keepers in the world and he's ours!

There isn't a age as such but let me ask you, what age do you think you should be mature enough to handle the booing, criticism, standing on a pitch with 50000 ready to call you a twat. I have played football at a much lower level and it gets to you even if it's only a few hundred. I'm not defending him, he has work to do, but most of what he gets is unfair

I can't think of 1 time a joe mistake cost us points. Am I getting on though. Need to be careful with all pep's targets backing off, and I've heard stones wants to stay, we may have Valdez as our number 1

I find it utterly preposterous anyone rates the Donut Thief in the top 10 keeps in the world, let alone better than Hart.
Mental.

The age you decide you want to put yourself in the shop window. I agree the shit he is getting from the media is it, but in his chosen profession, he knows he will be judged for what he does on and off the pitch.

Really ? If you don't think he's not a top keeper just because he plays for the scum you are deluded, and you know it !

Agreed, don't get me wrong, he is going to have to grow a pair both on and off the pitch, he has time on his side, but any patience of the media and us blues will become further exhausted very soon if improvement not shown.
Easy solution for him would be a return to Liverpool, he'll than become a great again. Let's give him support just now and fingers crossed he will show us what he can do
