It says we should just love other Europeans?

Seems to me that the remain camp want to have a 2-tier system and treat people from outside Europe differently to those from Europe, while the leave campaign would apply the same conditions to all people, regardless of nationality.

Or maybe we want to treat Europeans with respect and not make them feel like second class citizens when they are propping up our social care services and economy.

What good is treating everyone the same if that's based on prejudice and damaging our society!

For the still undecided, forget politics and politicians.
If you think people are people, whatever their colour, creed or nationality.
Don,t vote with anyone of a different view.
Remain!.

So it's ok to treat non-Europeans as 2nd class citizens? You don't think there are plenty of non-EU folk propping up our services as well?

Put it this way, spiders are great creatures. They eat flies to keep your house clean.

But would you want hundreds of spiders in your house?

It's not even what most retainers want though. I suspect if the vote was out or closer integration, it wouldn't even be close.
It's late I know but that has just sent my brain into overdrive, lol.
I live in a block of 9 flats. Two are rented by Poles, three are rented by British and one flat is rented by an Indian couple. We get along just fine. In fact, compared to the last place I lived (all Brits) it's a haven of peace!
I know that's down to much more than our ethnic origins or whatever, it's because we have a common outlook.

People are people but don't vote with anyone who has a different view!

By the way. The Referendum is not about people. It's not about immigration. It's not about economy. These are sideshows.

The referendum is about Sovereign democracy.

Who said that?

We are members of the European Union so people from our nations benefit from being members of the Club eg in terms of free movement.

I bet you would love it in Knaresborough if we opened the floodgates to everyone from around the world who wanted to come here! It must be tough getting good servants are the best of times lol!

Again nonsense.

Fact:
1995: 76,000
2005: 267, 000
2015: 333, 000

Or if you want to look at a shorter time scale:

2012: 177,000 The start of the latest migration trend.
2013: 209,000
2014: 318,000
2015: 333.000 Approaching peak or outliner year?

How is it nonsense.

It rose rapidly from between 1991 and 1999 and since 2004 has been roughly the same.

The bit about the erosion of national identifies by the EU.

OK, maybe not national identities but certainly local ones. Former thriving fishing villages now downtrodden areas with no work opportunities for example.

OMG. Are you actually saying a points system based on educational attainment; financial circumstances and/or a useful prrofession amounts to treating everyone the same? You can't possibly have thought that through

It's sad but the seas were being overfished. If not the E.U, then Britain would have eventually had to introduce quotas.

The likes of Nigel Farage are not an antidote to that.....oh but wait. I've just seen the latest poll. I think Brexit are out of steam.

nigel farage isn't going to be in charge ever, so your point is irrelevant. and all the polls are completely different.

We do love them individually. I work with Poles, Italians, Belgians and Australians and they're all great.

My concern on immigration is purely to do with numbers. Brits in Spain aren't making it very difficult for young Spaniards to buy property and they aren't undercutting Spaniards for similar work to drive down wages.

Stu,i live in a seaside town, the hotels have staff consisting of Welsh, Polish, Spaniards, English, Romanian,
What binds them all is a pleasant disposition, whatever nationality.
So Stu ,why are young Spaniards working in a stinking climate such as ours?.

I take your point but we can't put the interests of fisherman above the well-being of the overall economy. I know fisherman believe that this should happen but it can't. It's a pity nobody how content the fishermen and farmers were to vote for Thatcher and aporove of a government laying waste to millions of manufacturing jobs. I have no fucking sympathy.
