Yes you were. You said Joe cost us a place in the quarter finals. That is the very definition of laying the blame solely on Hart.

Did Joes cock up cost us a place in the quarter final, yes it did. Did the rest of the team have ample time to grab an equaliser and go on to win, yes they did, but they didn't. As much as I like Joe, he has cost us dearly and if stating that makes me a ****, I'm a ****.

This is my observation why Hart is not a top PL GK.
He does not have the football nous and foot skills to be one.
He reacts rather being proactive most of the time.
As an example down 2-1 in this match he still holds on the ball longer than necessary
rather than distribute without thinking when there are so many options available.

I think that Joe can count himself lucky that Jack Butland is injured, otherwise he would be on the bench already.

Well, he is. Can you think of any better? I can't. Infact, I can't think of a better English keeper currently playing the game. England are awful in general, theres a reason that the Premier league is only 30% domestic players.

Jack Butland is a shout, but a VERY distant one.
Hart maybe acceptable for England but is it necessary that our GK has to be an English one?

Not often I agree with Wright but he gets too wound up effing this effing that in the tunnel "come on boys" etc. Get a grip and calm down!

Not harsh in the slightest, the second goal was pub standard goalkeeping. He wasn't the only duck egg tonight, he wasn't the worse player on the field, that award goes to the best midfielder in the world a player that can never be dropped and is adored by Woy and the rag infested media, but the goal that led to the defeat was down to Joe.

Even if he would have saved it, we couldn't score in a brothel. Iceland would have either scored another goal (prbably down to rooney and cahill again) or they would have beat us on pens.

It's all ifs, buts and maybes. Joes mistake will be the one that is remembered, because it has cost us a place in the quarters. No one will remember Kane's shit free kicks corners and general shit play, no one will remember Rooneys shit passing and over hit shots, no one will remember every other shit performance of which there was plenty, but everyone will remember Joes mistake.

Still the same joe hart who has 2 premier league medals.....fuck the haters.....this guy is city through and through and our best goalie since joe corrigan.....along with trautman he's in the top 3 goalies we've ever had.
Anyone supporting utd or anyone else slagging him off needs to take a long hard look at that 2nd half performance.....as much as I hate rooney.....he's never played as shit as that 45mins...neither Kane,Ali or Sturridge.....

On a night when England footballers have been cowed by fear, the Trolls should maybe shut up for once.

You can keep saying it all you want mate. It doesn't make it right. If he saves it, it's 1-1.
You do not advance to the quarters with a 1-1 draw.

As long as he makes his mistakes for England and not City then who gives a fuck. Best goalie we've had the pleasure of seeing at City on many years. Don't forget he's not used to playing behind shit like Smalling and Cahill.

Joe get's beat too easily down to his left, and he was poor for both goals tonight...

However – like Raheem before him, he was no worse than the other ten useless fuckwits on the pitch with him! Kane has been absolutely shite all tournament, and all for a few brief bright spells, so have the rest. Sturridge was shite tonight, Vardy did less (when he came on) that Sterling had done. Wilshire has looked shite, Cahill and Smalling were shite, and Rooney's not a central midfielder... yet it'll be Joe and Raheem that get all the shit in the papers tomorrow!

Terrible mistake by Joe , and you cannot defend him , absolutely no excuses , he is a very good keeper , but not world class , look at Buffon's saves against Spain and then compare Joe tonight , having said that , England have not got one world class player , as proved against Iceland , thank god we do not have to watch that dross every week.

Buffon is how many years older? and much more experienced, not a fair comparison

Feel sorry for Hart as he will be hung out to dry by the rag media tomorrow.
He looked utterly devastated at the end.
I think he knows what's coming.

You are correct, no one advances with a 1 - 1 draw, and it's also correct no one gets eliminated from the last sixteen with a 1 - 1 draw ( excluding penalties ) :)

Not sure how old Joe is 28/29 ? The amount of Internationals , Champs league games he has played , he shouldnt be making basic mistakes like the Bale free kick and tonight , Joe has been brilliant at times in a City shirt , (and really thats all that matters to me) , but he isnt in the same class as Buffon or Neuer , and he will now be hung out to dry by the media , but hes big enough to bounce and we will all be behind him.But annoyingly they will fail to mention that DeGea has made some glaring errors , that will be glossed over.

He has to get better to his left. It's cost England twice and was a problem for us at times too last season.

The fact that we could only muster two real shots on target and one of them was a penalty against a country with a population the size of an English Town sums up just how shit we have become. Hodgson was never the right appointment
