I never said anything of the sort. The tweet referred to the motives behind Farage's departure and that unless we have a compete break from the EU, then any warmed up deal with the EU post Brexit is going to entail the same free movement of people that we have today.

Well said, I for one am waiting on these clueless fools to quit gloating like Ferguson used to and start telling me how we are all gonna be better off without free movement, working rights protection and economic stability. Brexiters, don't start telling me we are just the same financially as a month ago, we are 16 cents down on a dollar and it's just the beginning. The notion that Brexit is going to bring about any meaningful change in the way our society is ordered, socially and politically, is utterly comical. It simply won't happen. Rather, it has calcified the status quo ,which the break up of the Union will further accentuate, paradoxically.

If this is not of significant concern then well, good for you. This trend is likely to continue and the apocolypse that is failing to materialise is actually unfolding slowly (as predicted) right before us all. The country was never going to go bankrupt overnight, nor indeed will it go bankrupt at all but to suggest that there will not be serious financial implications of this vote in the longterm is just denial.

1.2908 now, only a cent loss but it's inexorably going down. Should the trend continue there will be £ to $ parity long before Christmas, so as a nation a third will have been wiped off our pound against the currency oil is generally traded in.
