Gabriel Jesus

Got a dodgy feeling this deal won't happen

If we don't get him, and we are the clear favourites, then we'll probably focus on Sane, who we are also favourites to land, and wrap that up pretty quickly after bringing in Marlos Moreno. We're in a great position and I'm confident we'll land atleast one of the two winger targets, both of which are tipped to be future superstars. Just take a step back and watch it unfold mate, no need to get stressed either way.

Hi Victor1914

Some people here have a user name that denotes the year of their birth. I hope yours means something else.

Welcome to the forum. My wife grew up in Brasil, and lived in São Paulo and also Belem and Recife. She knows little about football though.

Let's hope we get Gabriel Jesus, and then I might offer my wife's services as a translator.

Hello Eli Panic and thanks for the welcoming!

Actually, the year in my nickname is a reference to Palmeiras' foundation year. I'm only 25!

I also had the chance of going to England and particularly going to Manchester. I visited the Etihad and bought a Manchester City jersey. It was the Umbro kit that feels like its made of cotton. I believe it was from the 2007-2008 season.

Anyway, going back to the thread topic, I can ensure you that Gabriel Jesus is very different from Robinho or Neymar considering their attitude. He is very focused and not a party-like Brazilian. I hope you buy Gabriel Jesus, he is really worth it, even though I'd appreciate if you could leave him here in a loan for another year probably. He is only 19 and he still can develop, specially that the team is playing very well right now. He can be the star but not the only great player we have.

In my opinion, Neymar is the player he is today because he knew the exact time to go to Europe. Lucas Moura, on the other hand, went to soon. Well, it is clear that selling Jesus is inevitable.

Yet another signing to be followed by the words to be loaned out. Strange policy buying fo everyone else. Lots of money for potential. When do we pay for finished product
This isn't a typical loan out, he's halfway through the season sitting in first place and top of the goal scoring charts. He's also a major key in Brazil's Olympic gold quest, speaking Olympics:

Thought we had agreed he could play until end of Brazil season. This seemed to be one of the reasons he said yes, but I may be wrong.

@victor1914
Hi mate welcome.

if you had to compare him to a current player in Europe, who would it be.

It's quite hard to compare him to a player in Europe right now. I could compare him to young strikers but he is different.

His pace, finishing ability and skills remind me of Ronaldo fenômeno in the beginning of his career (when he was not fat).

IF he is better than Kelechi then I want him to sign and join us NOW.

No need to stay until January.

Yes there is.The lad wants to see out the rest of the season with his club. He`s showing loyalty and believe me if the fans for one moment thought that he`d be leaving mid term there would be a riot. This is South America not Luxembourg. ;)

PVC is one of the most informed pundits in Brasil seriously he is insanely Good t his job... if he says City can bring him earlier,im inclined to believe him....but im still hoping Real gazumps you guys ;)
