Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

He said he wants to stay at Dortmund for a long time, He and Reus are very good friends. Don't see him leaving unless Madrid come calling with a fee of 90m+
1) he can make friends wherever
2) is he not friends with Gundogan
3) 90m? Lol.

A lot is made over Aubameyang personally, but I don't see BvB cutting him loose given they've already shed Gudogan, Mkhitaryan and Hummels this summer. Further, they've actually done quite well in the signings field and look a genuine threat to Bayern this year and I'd imagine Aubameyang is an important piece in the puzzle.

From what I know, he's pretty good friends with Gundogan too.

I think it's common knowledge now that Pogba would be their main target

But where does this leave Aubameyang

Maybe this is why he has now said he never said he would only leave for Madrid

Nothing's changed with Aubameyang for some time, it's been fairly well known that he promised his dying grandfather that some day he would play for Real Madrid. That's a nice ambition, but even as the second highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga, it's a steep ask.

Real have zero interest in him this summer, so the next opportunity he will have to join them, given their transfer window ban, will be when he's touching 30. So it's safe to assume he's backtracking now because he knows, it's now or never. I'm sure he doesn't want to spend the rest of his career in Dortmund either and the Higuain saga only proves that he could be doing so much more and attaining so much more by moving on.

I just don't see BvB doing it, though we could give them Bony in return...

We have Bony and Kolarov but we don't want to scare them off ;)

Aubameyang just tweeted that it's bullshit that he said he will only leave BvB for Real. An then apologised for his poor English in a tweet a few minutes ago.
So he's not ruling out moving away from Dortmund and also denied he will only leave for real! Hoping its for City's benefit

I've never felt like the player is the issue here so I'm not sure what he has posted makes a huge amount of difference. If we want him and can manage to agree a fee with Dortmund, I've always felt confident he would come. I just don't think we would be prepared to pay what it would take for Dortmund to sell this summer.

I don't think anything will happen this transfer window regarding Aubameyang but why has he felt the need to tweet that? Just stay silent if your staying put. Very weird it's like he's trying to tell someone that he is clearly very open to a move.

If he's been quoted incorrectly no reason why he shouldn't correct it. If someone quoted you as saying the only other team I would support is the rags would you shut up and remain a city fan or put people right?
