I agree another season of battling against relegation again. Bravo is terrible and doesn't even do heads and shoulders ads ffs.
has anyone said that?? No they haven't people, including my, allegedly Rag self, are miffed that a goal keeper who is better in some respects than the one coming in has been cast off when we will need a goal keeper with his attributes at some point in everygame

Yep.

#pepout

Bag of shit he is.

How dare he make decisions that may stir our resident rags.

Few things kid. who said Pep out?? !not me I'm glad we have him. do I think how things are with the goal keeping situation is right, no I don't, do I dislike he makes decisions no I don't, do I think we need, in the prem, a goal keeper with Joe's attributes over a keeper with Bravos, attributes because we are not going to be able to keep other teams away from our goal for 90 minutes in every match? yes I Do. Am I a Rag? only if you are and finally FFS give your mother her phone back I know it's the 6 weeks holidays but you really should be sleeping now.

Kid?

That's quality.

You've brought this all on yourself.

Never turn up to a gun fight without a gun.

Rag.

Nope you win that one only 42 years for me but still long enough not to be called a Rag because I'm not falling into line and can see issues where others can't or wont
Look mate. Im far from being 'A Pep Groupie

I'm gutted about Mangala leaving, as I think, given a bit of work, there's a top player trying to get out. I also freely admit to thinking Stones was a huge mistake, & that Mangala would have been a better (cheaper) option given the chance.

I, then, had the privilege of watching Stones play live, & quickly realised that I didn't know what the hell I was on about, and decided to keep my nose out in future.

A gun fight?? what having an opinion different than yours is about a gun fight?? yeah I'll go with Kids as that is a pretty immature position to take.

I do find that someone else who keeps throwing rag accusations around tend to be Rags themselves merely trying to get a rise from blues With that in mind kiddo if your not giving mummy her phone back and going to bed why don't you fuck off to the Redcafe and play with your mates.

Your not intelligent enough to turn this around on me.

You have already dug your own grave on this one.

The previous 4 pages is solid testament to this theory.

I'll call it a day at this point.

Enjoy the rest of your morning ;-)

And I hope I experience the same with Bravo but right now I havent I hope I'm wrong. I thought the same with stones, wasn't sure at all but yes he has done well but even though I was wrong I can't keep my nose out because it matters so much and anyway I was convinced sterling would be fine under pep and I was right so I'm not always wrong!

2 degrees kid one in medicine I reckon I'm more intelligent than you.
However why would I be turning anything on you.

Weirdo

My doctor speaks to me like that all the time. He also keeps repeating the same joke ad nauseum. I personally couldn't care less whether you're a blue or a rag but when someone says they have 2 degrees and cannot string a coherent argument together; something which could be done by someone with such qualifications, then I sense a certain degree of inaccuracy being expressed. Actually, come to think of it, that does sound like a rag. ;-)

Bravo needs to show he is clearly better than Hart, there is nothing controversial about that. If he isn't clearly better, then what was the point?
If he makes mistakes like that free kick vs Betis, fans will not be happy about one of the most popular players being forced out. Pretty straight forward really, if he is brilliant then people will forget about hart pretty quickly. No one is crying out for Mangala or regretting MDM leaving because Stones' performances have been top notch, Bravo's job will be considerably harder replacing our longest serving player and our 2nd/3rd best player last season.
I don't buy this argument as we are not replacing a like for like keeper. Bravo is being brought in because he has qualities Joe hasn't. Comparing them imo, is futile

But for fucks sake we will need that, there will be one on ones there will be reflex saves to be made. Being able to kick the bloody ball to a defender isn't the be all to goalkeeping!
Joe is going mate and you need to let go. You seem the type who will be scrutinising Bravos every move looking for opportunities to come back on here with I told you so comments. If that floats your boat, that's quite sad for any fan.

Every time I pop into this thread there always seems to be someone severely underrating Bravo. I get it, Hart is a fan favourite but you really have to see beyond that tag. Bravo is a top keeper, he was very good in the Copa America that's just gone by and he's been superb for Barcelona. I reckon only United and Bayern Munich wouldn't swap their keeper for Bravo right now.

Bravo is a top 5 (in the world) goalkeeper right now with the distribution to match that tag. Hart is top 15 but much lower than that in distribution. I can only think those not rating Bravo, barely watch Barca or Chile and are therefore judging him on the odd highlight of him making a mistake. Plus, those underestimating the importance of having a keeper who can play football, go back and watch our last 3 games and look at the opportunities to be taken advantage of (by having a ball-playing keeper) created by Pep's tactics.

Some harsh and fickle comments on here. One might say evidence of the bad side of what we have become, especially now the Messiah has arrived.

Hart is a top quality keeper. Now, no-one knows what has and has not been said and done behind closed doors since Pep arrived, but he is clearly not flavor of the month anymore. However, that should not mean City FANS, who have supported him for years, cheered him on through the bad and good (Golden Gloves galore!) years, should not be able to ask what Bravo has that Hart doesn't, and whether that is more important than being a 6'5" shot stopper extraordinaire!

I find it almost ridiculous that Pep can say he can nurture Sterling and make him better, he can bring in young talent and revitalize the squad, yet he somehow appears incapable of helping Hart to be more confident and competent with the ball at his feet??? Nah, something else has happened here. This cannot just be about his kicking game, because Willy's has been a bit dire and unsafe this past week!

Something additional may well have happened between Pep and Hart but it's certinly not ridiculous that Pep can improve Sterling and not Hart for example.

With Sterling it was a case of picking up his confidence and putting him in a system that suited his play style and ability. Pep glued together his fractured confidence and given him freedom to play as we seen when he first broke through into the league. He already had that ability and he's still young enough and got time on his side to improve.

Hart's situation is completely different, to attempt to improve a 29 year olds technical ability is a very hard job and takes a long time. Of course if Hart stayed he would naturally become a better ball player, the big questions are though; how long will it take? How high is Hart's ceiling? The answer regarding time, could be months, years or never, it certainly will not happen straight away. Then the question on his potential is also important, how likely is it that in the next few years Hart will become better on the ball than a goalkeeper who was brought up to play that way and played that way nearly his entire professional career? Again the answer is not very likely.
