its the dirty tricks by skysports that are the conspiracy/agenda they know how to set teams up and will stop at nothing to help a football club that's plays in red and from manchester. if that was a united game nothing would have been said or shown on tv sky would have paper over it and move on to something else. i even notice that when the offside is close in the united games they will not show them like in the southampton game when southampton scored they just did not show a replay and just said offside

Looking at the replay the referee was looking directly at the challenge and had a perfect view, there is no way he can claim not to have seen the incident and he decided there was no action required.

Therefore this should be the end of the matter, but i now fully expect a 3 match ban to come.

Forget the possibility of a ban, i thought he had a very poor game. Didn't look natural when attempting to take on a man and gave the ball away very cheaply, I would describe his performance as awkward. He's better then this.

Just came back, surprised that this has been made a bigger deal than it is. From how I see it.

1. Ref saw the incident
2. A free kick was given for the clash, not necessarily for the elbow mind but the physicality of it.
3. It was during a 50/50, not right after the ball has been played so it wasn't lashing out. People get knocked by elbows in aerial duels. This was barely contact.
4. There was minimal to no contact. If anything it was a raised elbow against a head in momentum.
5. No one in my block made a big deal out of it, not even the away fans. Arguably it was the other end of the pitch. I found out from here.

Edit: just saw the replay and a free kick was not given. I thought it was. Doesn't matter anyway the ref saw it and didn't see it as malicious. If anything, Aguero was trying to push him but wasn't really going for the head.
