Daft fans cheering when we ended up hitting it long even though we scored our first from doing it.

Rag logic.

Also that second half was embarrassing from them, Rashford got past twice and that was it he was anonymous for the rest of the game, and the lumping it up every time they had is surely not the "United way"

It's all over twitter, presumably it's from their new accounts that they've released
They haven't written off his contract, they've written off the value of his transfer fee on the books as they're expecting him to leave on a free transfer - standard practice for public companies and something they have to do as part of their audited accounts.

I've not looked into it but from what I'd gathered they've written off his wages for the year as he's no longer considered a first team player?

Weren't the scum predicting 12 months ago that their turnover would be the highest in the world this time round? Even if the pound/euro exchange rate had stayed around the 1.30 mark they'd have been below Barcelona. Real Madrid, who will probably be top, haven't declared theirs yet to the best of my knowledge.

The Fail ran a story yesterday about Neymar nearly joining them. Do they not realise that the rags are regularly used as a stalking horse to get a new contract for the player involved. P.S a salary of £600,000 per week was mentioned.

In fairness it could of ended 2-2 at half time when zlatan rolled the ball to stones instead of breaking the net.
He lashed at everything else then when he should have he rolled it !
Both goals would've happened due to keeper errors, they weren't in the game at all before that first goal, even 2-1 was too flattering for them.

Nope, they've written off his value on the books, £6.7m or so, his yearly salary would be around the £13m mark and he has 2 years to run iirc so it'd cost them over £30m to actually release him. You stand your ground Schweini :D

Is it only me that thought Lingard fouled Sagna before Ibrahimovich rolled it to Stones???...I thought he clearly pushed Sagna in the back.

Possibly but by then either Sagna should have had the ball in Row Z or Bravo should have come out quicker and collected the ball. A classic piece of poor communication between new team-mates.

Out of interest does anyone know who holds the record for most goals conceded in the derby against City? Because De Gea must be there or there abouts, we've scored a hell of a lot past him

27 by my count in 11 appearances, he must be there or thereabouts alright.

Very much a foul IMO,he was bundled to the floor.

Looking back at 'if's,but's and maybe's' is a nonsense though, and, more pertinently........a conveniently bitter excuse from their point of view.

We were the better team,by a considerable distance in that first half, and this game was a reality check for their arrogant fan base and their over-rated manager.

Totally agree but it was a bloody awful miss and if they had some how gone in at 2-2 I reckon they would have happily parked the bus
