They haven't written off his contract, they've written off the value of his transfer fee on the books as they're expecting him to leave on a free transfer - standard practice for public companies and something they have to do as part of their audited accounts. It's all over twitter, presumably it's from their new accounts that they've released
I've not looked into it but from what I'd gathered they've written off his wages for the year as he's no longer considered a first team player? They haven't written off his contract, they've written off the value of his transfer fee on the books as they're expecting him to leave on a free transfer - standard practice for public companies and something they have to do as part of their audited accounts.
Both goals would've happened due to keeper errors, they weren't in the game at all before that first goal, even 2-1 was too flattering for them.In fairness it could of ended 2-2 at half time when zlatan rolled the ball to stones instead of breaking the net.
He lashed at everything else then when he should have he rolled it !
I'm all for them increasing their revenue if they keep blowing it on over-hyped dross. And as sure as eggs are eggs, get beat by us and release something about being the biggest and only club blah blah fuckin blah.

So predictable.
Nope, they've written off his value on the books, £6.7m or so, his yearly salary would be around the £13m mark and he has 2 years to run iirc so it'd cost them over £30m to actually release him. You stand your ground Schweini :DI've not looked into it but from what I'd gathered they've written off his wages for the year as he's no longer considered a first team player?
Is it only me that thought Lingard fouled Sagna before Ibrahimovich rolled it to Stones???...I thought he clearly pushed Sagna in the back. Both goals would've happened due to keeper errors, they weren't in the game at all before that first goal, even 2-1 was too flattering for them.
Possibly but by then either Sagna should have had the ball in Row Z or Bravo should have come out quicker and collected the ball. A classic piece of poor communication between new team-mates.Is it only me that thought Lingard fouled Sagna before Ibrahimovich rolled it to Stones???...I thought he clearly pushed Sagna in the back.
27 by my count in 11 appearances, he must be there or thereabouts alright.Out of interest does anyone know who holds the record for most goals conceded in the derby against City? Because De Gea must be there or there abouts, we've scored a hell of a lot past him
Very much a foul IMO,he was bundled to the floor. Is it only me that thought Lingard fouled Sagna before Ibrahimovich rolled it to Stones???...I thought he clearly pushed Sagna in the back.
I can't honestly remember him having a good game against us27 by my count in 11 appearances, he must be there or thereabouts alright.
Totally agree but it was a bloody awful miss and if they had some how gone in at 2-2 I reckon they would have happily parked the busBoth goals would've happened due to keeper errors, they weren't in the game at all before that first goal, even 2-1 was too flattering for them.
I'm all for learning the lessons of history but there'd be no point watching football if youAnyone getting carried away at this stage needs to remember our 100% start last year, and how the wheels quickly fell off.
