absolute rubbish. Why would a left winger not be good on the left wing. It makes no sense
No one arguing Sane could play left winger. Though never seen on the left under Pep.

Left footed winger/inside naturally easily goes to box from the right because their working foot closer to box, they move from right to left controlling the ball with left foot. Why left footed players better at free kicks from the right side of the box? This is the same reason why left centre back often left footed (see Kolarov new role).

A frustrating player, looks sharp in the penalty area, as shown by snapping up the rebound for the third goal last night but too predictable out wide, the turn inside is so easy for the opposition to snuff out because they know he can't easily beat his man on the outside with his lack of pace.

Really missed him against Spurs. Would have allowed Sterling to play on the right. He is better at playing 1-2s with Silva than Navas.

He's been somewhat effective but why are we buying players that Barca and Madrid don't want

Still if I was the Sheikh wouldn't splash out 150 million for Messi. Hope that never happens

Barca bid £287million for him and he told them to swivel and come here for 14p....have you been asleep???

14p haha

Working class man he does fit our club

I was talking about Silva, Negredo, Javi Garcia etc
Strictly speaking since it was Negredo's wife that wanted out only Garcia ended up surplus to our requirements; he's another stark reminder to only play a man out of his position if there are better men suited to it (we still had Barry at the time)
Provided Sterling's calf is still getting in his way next weekend Nolito will slot in on the left. Sterling should be fit though for Everton if he is not picked for England tonight.

Oh yes, Navas the gypsy wants home and has been stealing a living, so we could see how well Nolito does if Pep slots him in on the right...Should send Navas packing home in the winter window and recuperate some funds if Nolito is capable of playing on both wings. Front four of Sterling-Silva-Nolito, Aguero while KDB is out

Vastly underated,

he hasnt got the pace, However keeps his head up and his a good touch and vision,
no coincidence him and Silva have a great understanding.

When he is on the pitch the whole left side comes to life, it was non-existent vs spurs. No one at city besides Nolito have mastered the left wing position.
Sterling,Sane and Navas are amateur at best on that side.
