Seriously guys, all this anxs from a rag infested media story?
The people who reported on the match are simply having to deduce why Sergio didn't play, from their own desks.
They can't say "I don't know what the fuck is going on", as that would actually be the truth.
So in turn, they infer and be suggestive, to the point it makes for a much better story to suggest our "best player" and a manager who has suddenly become no better than Steve Bruce, are at odds.
It causes days of tittle tattle until at some point, Sergio scores a hat-trick ('and then it's see, Pep, you fucked up mate' ) or Sergio goes a few games without a goal (and it's Sergio's rift with Pep is impacting his natural game')
I'm sure Pep will continue to be bemused by the questions he receives today.
I am ashamed and embarrassed by the standards of football news journalism in the last decade.
They either get spoon-fed by the clubs (I'm sure City are briefing against Pep and Kun, not!) or they just aren't very good, and don't have a relevant contact between them.
And that's the truth, trust me.
Hindsight is easy but we pulled the ball back so many times it would have suited kelchi the poacher
Flatters to deceive? He's scored 5 and assisted 2 in the 630 minutes of competitive football he's played for City.
Great post. Couldn't have said it better. You actually reduced my anger levels with this post TH lolThe people who reported on the match are simply having to deduce why Sergio didn't play, from their own desks.

It must be clear to anyone following this football club that Guardiola isn't happy with Aguero's defensive contributions, the man has said it 2 or 3 times in press conferences and he's only been here 3 months.
Conversely KDB is our best player without the ball. Pep has said so, and you can see it watching us. Not only does he never stop sprinting and runs himself ragged every single game, he does it intelligently. The fact that Pep chose our best presser to be the one at false 9, not Sterling or Nolito (who he's said can play there in the past), shows how important he felt the pressing in that position was because it's from there that everything starts, and it's pressing there which forces Barcelona into going long from the back.
Nolito pressed brilliantly and knows exactly when to come inside and press the 3 midfielders, and when to stay wide and go for the RB. He's learned that from playing under Pep for 2 years, and seeing as Aguero can't play out wide, and the 9 position had to go to Kev, I'd chose Nolito over Aguero 10 times out of 10 at left wing.
And they will be out in force again in 2 hours time, thing is who is gonna be the bravest to ask him what is going on,because in all fairness we as fans need to know what is happening, plus my tenner on a hatty will be burning a hole in my pocket come 1.25 Sunday :)
The first question will be from Sky as always, so that twat Cooper will go all round the houses before something like, "You chose not to play Sergio in midweek, is he available for selection this weekend?
Then a weasel such as Wheeler from the Mail will try and hang his question on "There are reports out there..."
There have been a few pieces from Antony Kastranakis in The Sun this week which have bordered on spite, and he is continually at pains to diminish Pep's achievements.
He certainly won't have the bollocks to turn up to a pre-match home presser.
Balotelli had his number years ago and outed him and his paper when he moved to Milan.
Raheem can play left and Kev is used to playing right- we lacked an out an out striker
KDB as a false 9 worked very well, and if you can't see that you might as well stop watching football to be honest. The pressing we were able to do, and the amount of bodies we had in midfield disrupted Barcelona's possession so much that Enrique had them resorting to long balls from the centrebacks to Suarez. And until Bravo cocked up we were mopping up those balls with ease - especially once Pique was taken off.
Barcelona, at home, had to completely change the way they were playing, and only had even possession at home. It's completely unheard of, and we forced Barcleona into playing some of the worst football they've played in a long, long time.
But to people like you, apparently that's it not working. Apparently when you see us creating chances through having 6 midfielders, it's a tragedy Aguero isn't there - despite the fact if he was there, we'd have never created the chances in the first place, Barcelona would have had 15% more possession and we'd have been seeing exactly the same crap we saw under Pellegrini with them running all over us.
NO. NO WE DIDN'T. We needed Kev in the middle - I really couldn't have made that point any bloody clearer in my post. If you're going to disagree with it fine, we're on here for debate and all that, but don't just not read it and say the same bullshit you picked up from listening to McMinimum and the gang on BT Sport.
We don't have an out and out striker who can lead the line in defence the way that KDB did on Wednesday. Until Aguero becomes that, he is never going to play in those circumstances.
The hacks are jumping on the rift story because they have no idea about peps tactics, they don't want to learn they deal in soundbites only,if i could see why he didn't play so we could have an extra midfielder then they must be able to see it,talksport this morning said peps ego is running away with him by freezing out certain players, did they say the same when pisscan and maureen do it,i think not
Agreed
He may be another midfielder by trade ,but he certainly would of been on hand to bag a few of the pullbacks that went beggingAnother striker and not a midfielder masquerading as a striker, horses for courses etc etc with a striker on the pitch we may well have done them but that is also hard to say after everything else went down, they hammered every single mistake we made and we didn't do likewise.

Its easy after the event isn't it but I don't remember seeing so many pullbacks/crosses that went begging beforeThing is mate without the extra midfielder there's no guarantee the chances would've been made in the first place. Past performances at the Nou Camp have shown us that we found it very difficult to create chances because we couldn't retain possession for long enough owing to being outnumbered in the middle.
