Yaya Toure apologises

Is Seluk trying to raise his own profile enough in a shot at getting himself on Celebrity Big Brother or something since his only cash cow is on the verge of retirement?
 
One of my friends lives next door to a football agent. Reckons Seluk has some substantial dirt on Yaya.
 
Isn't one of Yaya's kids named after Seluk? I am sure he is going nowhere.

Interesting though about what happened today, Yaya has always kept up that Seluk deals with everything for him so for this statement to be published then he has gone straight over him and done it himself/got someone to do it for him. Seluk probably has an alert for when he tweeted and when he did was straight on the phone to Talkshite!
 
The day started so well for yaya,looked like he had it sorted then an hour later he was back to square one,if he has not laid into seluk today then he never will
 
Not sure why this low life is suggesting City fans are missing him. I certainly am not. He simply isn't good enough anymore not for Peps' system anyway.
 
Either Yaya is utterly hopeless and feels he 'needs' Seluk in his life despite everything pointing to stockholm syndrome.

Or alternatively Yaya is in a hopeless situation as Seluk has some serious dirt on Yaya so is being held hostage.

Either way i can't wait to see the back of this entire sorry affair.

Unfortunately, yaya, will live and die by the this man, tainting his legacy in the process... A great he may be but fuck me, enough is enough!!
 
cannot understand why toure would still employ this buffoon , i can only think the leech has some serious shit on toure maybe the greaseball has some incriminating images of toure with various farm animals ,there is no other explanation, the Slimeball must be blackmailing him because toure would not put with his lunatic rants ruining his career . Whatever crap shitforbrains has on him toure needs to come clean , it didnt do granny shagger and family man any harm
 
Far to little, far to late. Any action he makes now that seems positive will be met with skepticism and indifference. Outside of all what has happened there is simply no place for him now in the team that i can see. Hopefully he can get a move in January as that would be best for all.

Analyzing, after reading Yaya's declaration, the comments in Pep's press conference and Seluk's later declarations , I think that several conclusions can be extracted:

On the words published for Yaya

-The first one that not this Yaya of agreement with the attitude and declarations of his agent.

-If the first conclusion is true, Yaya's contractual and personal relation with his agent must be very strong.

-From out, it gives the sensation that Yaya is afraid to discussing with him or contradicting his opinions.

Pep press conference

-For the declaration of Pep in press conference, it is possible to understand that Yaya has said to him that not this one in agreement with his agent but it cannot demonstrate publicly.

-Pep has said that Pepe has said that the conversation with Yaya is deprived.

On Seluk's later declarations

The agent wants to follow the war. It prefers his ego to Yaya's interest. Already he is a millionaire thanks to his clients football players.

PERSONAL OPINION

PEP must support his decision.

But personally I believe that Pep has dudes after speaking with Yaya, and he believes that this Yaya being it victimizes of his agent. Difficult solution.

Seluk prefers contract with another equipment for his commission.
 
One report I read said he was behind Garcia in the pecking order, and as we are not in the League Cup he stands little chance of getting a first team game for many, many months.
Perhaps we should send him on loan to the USA in January.
 
Not a bad idea to send him on loan if we can save a bit on his wages but think its end of the season in the USA

You see - this is where I am at and whilst only having read the last few pages on this thread it seems people are seeing this from the wrong viewpoint (IMO). Letting him go in January is what they want - what's in it for us - I doubt anyone is paying us a fee.

Whilst I have not heard the detail of what has been said by whom, it feels from the bit that I have read on here that it is all something short of what was required and likely part of another Seluk game. IMO, all this jerk's actions months ago were aimed at getting the best financial outcome for him/them.

What would seem to have been in his/their best financial interest is that we had decided to pay up the remainder of his contract, including the big loyalty bonus, and release him so that Seluk can go and agree a nice lucrative deal elsewhere. That way they could have maximised the bucks - essentially being paid twice and receiving lump sums. I think that their actions were all a callous charade and they would have expected that the club would just cave in and comply. I would not be surprised to learn that Seluk already had another deal lined up.

What would seem to be the worst financial outcome for them would be to be having to see out the contract and whilst still receiving a incredible salary and likely ump sum at the end, because he is not playing, not receiving other performance bonuses and, with every month that goes by the opportunity for being paid twice erodes. Also, last summer his stock would have been very high, whilst not being in the shop window will lead to the level of interest and associated fees that can be secured reduce.

Perhaps cynical, I see the current actions as likely another charade to get us to release him in January - I think just let him sit out and get increasingly older and less marketable.

We have had a reputation for being capable of being milked and messed with - lets turn that around - lets not give them what they want.

If the Sun haven't taken that out of context, or cherry picked the stuff (!) I hope that bloke is spoken to by someone at the club. We don't need that kind of nonsense. I don't see our owners as the type who want to wash their dirty linen in public.

However, it is the Sun and if trust Hilary Clinton before I'd trust that newspaper.
