I'd be more confident of a win if Palace hadn't lost four league games in a row. It's not often teams lose five in a row, I can see this being another frustrating draw, 2-2 after we've scored first. :(

I think Palace could well go down this season, but that doesn't make this fixture any easier. Palace looked really weak on set pieces when I watched them v Liverpool recently. They were terrible than day, but we're the last team to take advantage of that - smallest team in the Premiership.

Need to win this one. Arsenal and Liverpool have tough fixtures where they could drop points so win this and we could be top again.

Just hope that dirty fucker, Dann, doesn't take out Sergio again.

This is the most frustrating thing about being a City fan. Everton were excellent against us and then rolled over for Chelsea. In fact the only teams to give us an easy time this season have been West Brom, Bournemouth and Steaua away.

I'd love a 7 or 8 goal game and with Crystal Palace they have the potential to be that bad but when teams are against us it just doesn't happen.

Everton were not excellent against us. We took them apart, created chances aplenty and missed two penalties. That said, it is true Stecklenburg had a game of a lifetime.

They were excellent relative to how they played at Chelsea

What does worry me with Palace is the searing pace that they have in their side. Zaha, Townsend and Benteke is a very good attack, important we don't leave ourselves too exposed to the counter attack.

So glad this international break is over, and that there isn't another one until March.

As always, it's incredibly hard to predict Guardiola's line-up, but with three games in seven days it's fair to expect some rotation. I've got a feeling that some of the South American contingent may be left out tomorrow, with an eye on Monchengladbach and Burnley. Complete stab in the dark, but I'd go for something like this:

Bravo
Sagna
Stones
Kolarov
Clichy
Fernandinho
Gundogan
De Bruyne
Nolito
Sterling
Iheanacho

Wouldn't surprise me to see Fernando or Navas involved though, as they'll be fresher than most.

Few rumours knocking about big yaya might be back in the squad sat? A lot of games coming up now will he be utilised?

My optimism is high for this got a feeling we are going to dismantle palace tomorrow I really should know better ha!

Back your rumours with sources or state it's your personal speculation which is fair enough.
My own take on this matter is that Pep's status quo remains in place i.e. Yaya will not be named in the first team squad until Seluk apologises to the collective management of MCFC.

NB. January sales now start on Boxing Day

Will today finally be the day that Guardiola gets to announce a fully fit squad in his press conference?
