Palace - Post match thread

Except we are top of the league.

Nobody gives two shits about indicators, only three points. But here's some indicators for you anyway:
We bossed possession and were statistically superior to CP in every category by a measure
We were missing a number of our best players, notably Stones and Gundogan.
The refereeing was atrocious and Palace should have been down to 10 men.
Generally the successful teams are the ones that pick up three points when not at their best.
Jesus is coming.
City aren't playing with a full Pep squad and will be undoubtedly strengthened further in January and the summer.
Yaya put in a lot more effort today than he has for years and presents another midfield option for the league if he can be consistent.
KDB is the best player in the league.

Enough indicators for you?

You didn't mention the Colin bell duvet, stenghtening the team in the summer doesn't really help us with the the league this year, the best teams don't always win when playing badly, the best teams play better more often than the rest, yaya was yaya no change and really without stones and gundogan we rejoice at beating palace, with their form amd league position what a coup.

It's clear reading the last few pages and posts a few have been on the sauce hahaha some incoherent and random posts

Puncheon very lucky not to get a red when he hacked down Zab away from play. If the ref says he didn't see it any chance it may get reviewed? Doubt it myself, however had it been the other way round??

The commentator says under new rules it's a red and it might be looked at later, doubt it will be though

Good win and away record putting the home one to shame currently.

We aren't playing particularly well though and I'm still unsure about how this season will pan out for us. The defence is just not good enough.

Still we are in a strong position and can only get better whereas some of the other sides look like they are at their limit to me.

Are you mental? It's never a red, he trips him.

I can't get over the lino not seeing it. He fucking saw every throw in for us as one for them.

I'm not sure what point you're making, but I was just trying to give a more balanced view of Yaya and our other star players (Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Aguero, I assume). They all sometimes fail to show up, and they all sometimes win us a game singe-handedly. Today was Yaya's day and I couldn't be happier for him, but there have been plenty of games in the last couple of years in which Yaya did nothing and/or was a liability. That's also true of our other stars - it's just the way it is, even with star players.
You criticized him for not showing up at times after he earned us 3 vital points in a crucial match today.
So my point is what matters the most ?
Also my point is , why don't you save your negativity for your self.

I think the point he was making was against the Silva bashers of which pb is one
