Would you go Red?

Even asking the question demonstrates all that is wrong with modern day football , sponsors that dont understand or care about supporters and any feelings they have !!
Not sure why you'd solely equate this with modern football. Leeds United, Liverpool, Palace and Coventry City all substantially and permanently changed their colours in the 60's and 70's. Apart from Cardiff City, I'm struggling to think of any example since 1992.

Tbf Liverpool went from red and white to red with substantially less white.

It may have been smart, but the colour was wholly incongruous to our heritage; 1978-81 apart, possibly.

I don't want to see a return to lazer blue by any means, but do you not think the blue in recent years has been a lot lighter than in the past?

I'm only going off photos, but wouldn't you say the lazer blue was probably closer to the 1968 shirt colour than the 2012 shirt was?

I love the old Red and Black kit. Will always remind me of Nelly for some reason
That goal at Wembley against Leicester presumably.

I have no problems with red and black stripes.

City won a fair amount in that kit. Also don't forget that United's European Cup win in 1968 was done while playing in Blue.

At the gym today they were showing Sydney v Melbourne City. Sydney were playing in light blue shirts and socks, dark blue shorts. Melbourne were playing in red & white striped shirts, red shorts, white socks. My brain just couldnt compute it.

Still happy to walk around in red Wales gear so perhaps I'm special. Bumped in to @ob on my break before City v Pope Fans and he gave me a playful dig about my Wales pass holder too! It don't bother me.
