1) Ideally government could be said to be that which organises in accordance with principles of truth (rather than lies).
2) Evolution might be said to be way of opening to higher truths.
If democracy is meant to be a way of evolving government - or at least maintaining the status quo - then does the apparent lack of
honesty in this election suggest that democracy as a model is beginning to fail its purpose? Seems like people wanted
a change from the status quo but whether they have chosen deeper truth is somewhat doubtful. In the age of 'reality' shows, clickbait
and fakenewssites is this a trend in government that is set to continue? It's like giving each 'turkey' a vote seems like a good idea -
but only if you assume that they won't all end up voting for Xmas.
