You know, that's an exciting team…

Take someone like Gundogan. Does anyone know how his physical regime for today, tomorrow & wednesday would differ if:

1) he starts against Celtic and plays 70-90 mins

2) he's on the bench against Celtic but doesnt play

3) he plays 30-45 mins

4) he's left out of the squad altogether?

A set of Slovenians have the whistle and flags tomorrow! Don't know what to make of it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being and, perhaps erroneously, think they are fully cognisant of all the Laws of the Game, including barging someone over in a race to the area, and are more than happy to apply them impartially!

But, interestingly, Uefa think that the game will be played at The City of Manchester Stadium! Mmmmmm!

Sponsorship rules on the ground name mate, UEFA can't have anyone else getting a piece of the pie.

play a team similar to that of the one at chelsea in the fa cup last season. give sane a run out he's looking good. give brahim diaz a run out as well. no reason to play any players which will play over the christmas period.

Can they be worse than Taylor and the rest of the FA sycophants ?

Great chance to rest players and give others opportunities. Celtic wont be half as energetic as they were when they had something to fight for.
I'd still expect a comfortable home win with:

Don't kid yourself. We will be right at you as this is another part of our journey to gain experience against top teams.

You are still overwhelming favourites, but we won't be less motivated by being out. This will be a game that we hope to show that in any of the other groups we would have at least made the diddy cup.

I'm hoping for another repeat of the last game effort wise. We have lost Tierney to injury so our defence is weakened.

But, we are Celtic and we don't play friendlies. Pride is at stake, losing is no shame against City, not fucking turning up is and is not an option.

We will come at you. Of that you have my guarantee. Wether we score is not as certain, but they will fight.

If you're going I hope you enjoy it.

Cabellero
Maffeo Stones Kolarov Clichy
Sane Garcia Fernando Angelino
Inheacho Nolito

I hope so. A few goals and end to end stuff. We're out, but we are hopefully progressing. This game is a chance to move further a bit. Or, at the very least identify immediately players who don't have bottle.

As much as I love Sergio he must not play in the game, starting or on the bench and I'll give you 3 reasons.
1. Kelechi will have to lead the line for 4 PL games and he clearly needs more game time to get in the rhythm so he has to start. And there is no point in playing two up front if thats not the way we're going to play for the next 4 games.
2. He would be a target to be wound up by Celtic (legitimate tactic) and the prospect of a CL last 16 without him isn't very appealing!
3. Perhaps most importantly, he needs to understand that no matter what the provocation he just can't do what he did on Saturday, so leave him out of the match day squad as a little reminder that its not acceptable.

Don't get me wrong, being on the end of a hiding won't be a shock. Even if you sent 11 second string I guarantee they cist you at least 20 times what our players cost us.
As Einstien put it. It's all relative.

if we put up a show against you, questions have to be asked of your recruiting. It would seem you maybe paying over the odds, because on a financial basis it shouldn't be a contest at all. And neither should have the first game.

In all fairness the first game wouldn't have been, had you not changed the game by scoring an offside goal after three minutes.

PEP: There will be changes. I am happy to give minutes to players who deserve it. Whether Sergio will play, I will decide today or tomorrow

PEP: I like all the players to play. I want to involve all the players. When we play every three days, the players must be rotated.

CABALLERO: I would feel very good if I did (start the game), I’m ready, as we did in last game at home against Barca

CABALLERO: I think just playing in #UCL is a big motivation, We have to respect this kind of game, we have to be focused.

CABALLERO: It’s a shame for us (Aguero ban) but it’s no time now to talk about that we have to turn the page and focus on the next game.

You must see the same accusations every week from opposition fans in league your club "compete" in.

It was very close. But what happened to the striker getting the advantage? It happened so fast and a lot worse goals have stood.

I think we deserved a point. But I'm biased.
