Bring Back Joe Hart

Quite right as the size and stupidity behind his fuck up discredits anything before it. His stops don't even have to be decent, just stopping it or attempting to would be a nice change.
For a City fan (and I know you are) you seem to do nothing but criticise the players and your fellow fans. You are the archetype of a certain subset of our fans who go to most games but do nothing other than moan and groan, before during and after those games.

Im dreading going tonight, not because of the team, but the moaning will be worse than ever!

Well, it is echoed in the ground.

Guardiola has selected Bravo to replace Hart. Bravo is a better keeper than Hart. A shaky start behind a shite defence doesn't change that.

Bravo has been ok, he's been vilified from day one and compared to Hart from day one.

As I've posted several times, people are looking to blame Bravo regardless of what's actually happened. Not saying you are. But to suggest this isn't echoed in the stadium is wrong.
I'm in block 130. If you meet me for a Bovril pre ko, I assure you I could point out who'll be moaning and screaming at nothing after 3 minutes.

All this 'Hart' would have done this or that. Well I've posted footage of Hart doing absolutely no different vs Diouf as Bravo did vs Willian.
Yet fan reactions are totally different.
You could also in the interest of fairness of course post a video of Harts saves in a city shirt starting with the title winning save at Everton, then post Bravo's match winning saves in a City shirt should be an quite a task.

I have already said that I haven't seen that much of him just a couple of pages back. I posted the stat in response to someone saying he hardly had a save to make.

On the rest of your post, I already said I knew that and I'm sure you've watched enough of him before he came here to form a proper judgement of him.
I haven't. I'm judging him solely on what i have seen of him here at City. From his time in Spain I know that he stayed at Sociedad until relatively late in his career (who have flirted from the segunda to the champions league) and I know he played at Barcelona. I don't recall him standing out as either a bad keeper or a good keeper. I just think that it's solely the fact that he played for Barcelona that is convincing people that he is a quality keeper. I believe had we have signed him directly from Sociedad and he was putting in the same kind of performances as he is now, even his biggest defenders would be less vocal about his ability.

It's not just that he played for Barca, there's also his international career ( team honours and personal honours )and the fact he was named on the shortlist for the FIFA team of the year. It all points toward him being a very good keeper.

Leaving now please please don't let us down I hope bravo has fuck all to do and we win 4-0 mind you any win will do

It does but that's because he's involved in teams that win things, although I would imagine Barcelona's and Chile's success has more to do with Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Sanchez, Vidal etc than it does Bravo. If we'd have won the Champions League last season, Joe Hart would have been on the shortlist for team of the tournament.

Hopefully he proves to be a very good keeper, but I was hoping to have at least seen a glimmer of his ability by now considering we are in December.

Ah, so you're implying that De Gea had a terrible first season because strikers gave him a hard time. Aww, that's a shame. That's their job FFS.
The simple fact of the matter is that the fans expected more from their keeper and he failed to deliver in his first season there. They didn't bin him off though did they? They gave him time, and in doing so they've proved the doubters wrong.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that Bravo's had anything like a good start, however the guy did have proven ability before arriving here. Once the Hart vs Bravo agenda is put to bed, I don't see much of a difference between the two scenario's to be honest.
No I'm saying he was particularly targeted on set pieces as a weak link and as such was physically troubled by the opposition to a degree which wouldn't have occurred in Spain.

That hasn't really happened with Bravo. Instead it's his actual ability to not drop a bollock or keep debatably saveable shots out of his net.

I'm staggered you can't actually see how there would be a different degree of patience offered to a 19 year old lad versus a 33 year old veteran keeper.

He's nowhere near the masterful passer some make out. Other than fairly straight forward 10 yard passes, what has he actually done that's impressed you so much? He's not particularly quick with the ball, nor is he particularly accurate when he goes long.
Bollocks. No interest in engaging you.

If posters want to discuss Bravo then please do it on his performance thread and not on a bring back Hart thread!

This one is for the more nostalgic dreamers amongst us.

Thanks.

No you can take that as you're not remotely intelligent or objective enough to converse with.
Standard response from you as soon as anyone actually challenges your opinion. Scrolling Bluemoom slyly digging at posts you disagree with before resorting to insults when someone engages you with a difference of opinion. Carry on anyway, I'm sure there's still a few people on here who aren't bored of it.

I would have him back in a Hart beat. (Sorry).
I often wonder what would be said of Pellegrini if he had come in with a similar style to Pep, got rid of Hart and brought Bravo in. I wonder if he would be given the grace Pep is being given for what, for me, is a cock up. My instinct tells me many more Blues, possibly those who won't criticise Pep, would be out for blood. I want Pep to succeed and put us on a level we never knew possible, but he does seem to be getting things wrong and being given far too much leeway from fans than maybe he deserves right now. It's like 'yes but we've got Pep', and therefore he can get away with a lot. Bit of a slippery slope for me, that.

You've challenged fuck all.

Literally the one thing no one has had a go at him for is his ball at feet. He's done great with that but, in your desperation to be 'king shit stain', still tries to make something out of it.

I've had turds I'm more fond of than you. You're the worst sort of supporter.

Sorry but Bravo has made loads of mistakes with the ball at his feet. How anyone can say otherwise must have been watching a different Claudio Bravo to the one I've been watching this season. In general goalkeeping terms, I had a lot more confidence in Joe than I do with this guy.

I agree. He's played it into danger enough times considering he's practically Iniesta with the ball at his feet to some. His long kicking is distinctly average; when it hits the half way line.

I see the point is over your head.
