awful attack - there are black racists as well as white racists - comes as no surprise to me. I assume thats not a Marlbro Light she's puffin on either. Chicago it seems IS becoming the place it used to be - very violent 2016 and this enforces that. This is a racist attack on a vulnerable man by some out of control probable drug users - the fact that Donald Trumps name is spoken doesn't make it politically motivated however.

Is it unreasonable to assume that Trump does not support the Intelligence services?

Is it unreasonable to assume that Trump is endorsing someone's comments by retweeting them and quoting them?

The Director of National Intelligence has confirmed that Russia was behind the hacking and will publish a report next week in which he will set out the Russian motives for it. Meanwhile, Trump tweets and gets his team to describe how he is going to break up the intelligence community, probably in the hope that they will fear for their jobs and dilute the findings in the meantime. Its pretty transparent really what Trump is doing. And very odd. Hopefully the Republican party get hold of him and tell him to wind his neck in

He would be the greatest president ever if he swapped NASA's funding with what the NSA and CIA get for a few years. Shame that ideal will likely stay in my head only for my lifetime and more.

Publishing evidence and publishing motive is two completely different things.

Is Trump going to use Twitter each day to voice his opinions when he becomes President?

Surely someone will have a word with him.

Probably. They shut him up for a week or so in the election but they can't long term..................its gonna be so different when crazy Don is Pres and this stuff is actually taken for real. He will become a laughing stock.

'Ford CEO Mark Fields said the decision to cancel the plant in Mexico was based in part on changing market conditions with sales of small cars declining as well as the pro-business climate the automaker expects under incoming President Donald Trump.

CEO Mark Fields, speaking at an event at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant, said the policies that Trump and the new Congress have indicated they will pursue were vital to the company’s decision.'

Today Macy's announce 10.000 job cuts - 3,000 more than those being created by Ford. I presume that is based on the incoming Presidents business friendly stance and policies? Or are only the jobs created Trumps?

Ford new plant at cost of $700 million is going to create only 700 jobs.

He is all over the place on this shit - he reads something and has a eureka moment and retweets it. Then someone tells him how it looks and he tweets something else then someone tells him what he should think and he tweets something else again - in another president elect it would be questioned but he does it so often and so quickly political journalists can't keep up. I note Hannity's comments retweet - His Fox News groupies lap this stuff up - quotes that change every 20 mins - constant refresh - nothing really cross examined - more shite and so on - fits in with their rolling "news" brief.

I can see no possible outcome tomorrow other than him having his arse in his hand. It wont take many days until he spins it into self aggrandising bullshit, but he will have it shoved up him tomorrow by those who he mocked as the "intelligence" community

A bit like the " jail Hilary - no hang on.............. " or the " some bits of Obamacare are worth keeping" ? Will be interesting to see how FOX News spin it

You presume wrong. They have been in trouble long before this so no you can't attribute this to Trump really. Similar stores have been in trouble for years and never recovered from the 2008 crash, also changing trends in how people shop.

These chains will die unless they sell all their shops, buy smaller ones with a fresh feel and more focused stuff. No president can help them if they do not.

Matters not how they spin it, its how he will. The problem is Trump has enjoyed being able to essentially rub it in and take the piss on Twitter about how he won the election. This Russian hacking affair has now come to light and it has wider implications which has seen this Senate Committee have to be involved and reports to the President about it. But for Trump, being the defensive narcissist he is, he only sees this as potentially undermining the victory he has been so enjoying. In other words, he sees it in terms of the intelligence agencies saying that he would not have won had Russia not interfered. So he has gone on the attack, and sent these stupid tweets.
The real point is, that report and the hearings today did not even begin to speculate on whether he would have won or not, and that was not the terms of reference for it. in fact it explicitly avoided that issue. It merely reported the facts and has evidence about Russian interference. How he will deal with that, wait and see. Im sure he will make a further bell end of himself in trying though

No you misunderstand. A decision by Ford that was taken presumably over some time to change a big investment in Mexico to a smaller one in Michigan was hailed by Trump supporters as a big pro-Donald win whereas in reality a change in the profile of Ford car sales and the decision to invest in bigger cars not expand smaller cars production in Mexico probably pre-dates the the election date really. I was interested in whether or not in the same way Trump fans will accept a long standing decline at Macy's leading to big job cuts is similarly the product of the President elects pro-business views? Truth is neither do - both have a much longer gestation period.

Can't see him making anything else of himself TBH.
