The other one with a chance of winning was extremely unlikable also; just because you can't see/share their reasoning for supporting Trump in light of that doesn't make them racist. Yes many who supported him will have been racist and xenophobic, but by no means a significant amount with the amount of votes he got.

Just saying it seems ridiculous someone can have 2million more votes than someone and still lose.

The same way that a UK Govt can have a landslide on less than 50% of the popular vote. None of these systems are perfect but they are what they are - they work more or less and nobody seems to moan if they are on the "winning" side. What I think you are looking for is each vote counting - PR. That was rejected by the UK population in the 2011 referendum - what you end up with is chaos and anarchy as parties try and form a government post election. And governments that last a few month before collapsing and losing their assembled majority often over small disagreements.

Wasting your time I'm afraid mate, it is entrenched in the left that differing views and opinions that
conflict with their view of the world must have malevolent intent. It's the reason that three major political
upsets in here and America have ensued.
But they'll never get it.
