In reality though, what is there to silence?

He's an insane rambler, who says a lot without saying anything. That goes across both of his Twitter personas. He hates City with a passion for some reason and has partaken in some very questionable behaviour against City fans in the past. He never offers any insightful, rational or informative output and has ended up working for himself because no reputable media outlet (if there are any left) feels his services are worth paying for. He's taken to begging for paid subscribers to his Substack "click here and pay for more content" and appealing to the anti-City brigade, who he hopes will both feed his fragile ego and pay his bills.

He's the modern day equivalent of the loud mouth drunk sat in the corner of the pub shouting conspiracy theories about something he doesn't like to anyone who will listen. But such is the modern age, he does it on the internet, hoping that the louder he gets, the more attention he'll get. City, rightfully, treat him like any other pub/internet loudmouth. Ignore the ****. As we should do on here; and yes I appreciate I'm being somewhat hypocritical as this post is about him.

He'll be lurking on here. He'll be reading this very post. He probably gets off on every mention of both his name and his hat-based persona. We're giving him that validation and satisfaction. Posting anything to do with Harris or the hat should be against the Bluemoon CoC, starve the bloke of oxygen and he'll eventually go and find something else to give him the doses of satisfaction he's looking for.

Don't disagree but I use BM as my therapy sessions and quite enjoy a little rant at cunts I don't like.

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :-)
 
Regarding Nick, he's admitted he finds December hard because his wife died almost 3 years to this day.

His rhetorical towards City, and the downward spiral of his career coincided with this. His age also points towards a mid-life crisis. There's no intimidation by City. It's all in his head. The only thing he has left is this case. His colleagues used to respect him for genuinely good work in football but even though they all coordinated attacks on City I think even they realised Nick was deranged with us. He attacks ANY City fan on that platform and blocks any retort.

REgardless of the result, I just hope he finds joy in his life as it's clear he's a deeply sad man right now

I hope he stubs his little toe every morning getting out of bed for the rest of his life.
I know many many people who have lost love ones without turning into massive cunts.

I wonder if Nick really does have any friends left, you certainly can't include the ones fuelling his diatribe on twitter as they all know he has issues. What would make someone "support" a person in such a manner rather than try and help them? Ziegler et al should hang their heads in shame.

Feel sorry for him but at least he has something in his life to keep his mind life worth while, even if it is banging the drum constantly about our club!
 
Has anyone posted screenshots of the letters?

I’ve read the text, but it’s impossible to know if the club did anything wrong without seeing the threats in the letters.

Wouldn’t disagree. It seems to have been prompted by Harris name-checking about 5 journalists and recommending them in an earlier post. Ziegler, Ornstein, Law I think were 3 of them. But for Ziegler to reply to the thread makes his endorsement of Harris’s views pretty clear to me.

I think you've nailed it.

With the loss of someone you love. The grief can go one of two ways in some people. I've seen this in a couple of my friends who lost their children at a young age. One let it in and sees the world in a better light, and has given their time to providing and helping others who've suffered. The other has become wrapped in hate and views the world as against them with everyone getting the better end of the shitty stick they've been given. As a friend I understand what he's going through but it's getting harder to remain friends with them because they've become so hateful. All fuelled ironically by love they've lost.

Each to their own, but I can’t understand why people post things like this on social media to a load of strangers.
