PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

surely you remember the Tragic Tophat et al, all telling us that we were buying up everyone in the last January sales, in anticipation of getting a lengthy transfer ban , as well as multiple relegations/expulsion, points penalties and a massive fine?
I mean they can't all be wrong, we clearly must be doing it again this year...
And the players and their advisers are all stupid.

I just emailed my friend David to wish him a relaxing holiday period. His almost instant reply ...

May be reading too much into it.
But I wonder if the exclamation mark indicates their frustration and possible bemusement with the timeframe also.

Either way invite Dave onto the thread, I’d love to hear his take on the muffin vs barm debate.

Anyone harp back to last season or the start of this one? City were shit and not one story about 115 appeared. Fast forward to now and it’s back to the good old cheat narrative. I wonder why that’s the case? It’s all very much stage managed and transparent.

It always makes me smile that some people actually believe those emails show anything other than accounting practices. No one apart from those working on the financials know the real reasons why. Instead like anything else, public is devoid of any real information and thus creates their own based on so many personal factors. Same with Epstein or UFOs. It’s all went abit insane.

A club rose through red dog turd and won. Creating glorious memories. Sorry you can’t handle that.

Fuck me, don't get him involved with that. @Ric will get a 500 page report in 2027 and an invoice for 20 million. And it will still be wrong .....

The first case was due to UEFA moving the goalposts (re. earlier contracts before FFP was introduced) after we'd submitted our books causing us to fail the FFP test. Sponsorship didn't come into at all, so that's just BS from Nicky boy.
I think you have misunderstood me.
1. It is disputed as to whether the goal posts were moved, but I believe they were, see PB. Slbsn disputes this theory.
2. I did not say that case was about sponsorship.

And we did a deal with them. No admission of guilt, we just wanted it to go away. Remember Kaldoon said that talking the fine on the chin wouldn't be happening again.
