Surely if we are as bang to rights as they keep claiming then surely you’d just sit back and wait for the shit to hit the fan.

Why the doubts exist​

The same profile photo linked to Chianti is apparently being used in Amazon reviews. That points towards stock or AI imagery rather than a real person. His online replies often look like trolling and baiting, not the behaviour of a professional reporter. The name itself does not sound convincing and lacks the weight you would expect from someone who supposedly works in European football journalism. He has no LinkedIn page, which for a journalist in 2025 is almost unheard of. We tried to trace employment history and could not find anything that stands up. Credits exist in places, but whether those are genuine or simply false attributions is another matter. None of this builds credibility.

The bigger problem​

Plenty of football websites have still used his material for actual news stories. That shows how easy it is for parody accounts to pass themselves off as real. He has been accused of tricking news outlets into running complete fabrications, and in the modern digital landscape it is not hard to see how. A few professional-looking posts and the veneer of insider knowledge can be enough to fool many. That is why the story has carried traction, even if it is rooted in nothing.

Spoiler alert: they won't.

As much as we want City's legal team to take down every single twat who has labelled us as cheats on social media, let's be honest, it's just white noise. The modern day equivalent of loud mouth gob shite at the pub. If it wasn't for people sharing Twitter posts on here, I'd imagine many of us wouldn't know these people/fake accounts exist anyway.

I was there. That was due to the cockney dickheads rioting outside though, rather than comedic parking arrangements.
We were locked in for a good 45 mins after one of our trips to the Nou Camp as well. Spanish plod being utter cnuts as usual. It was bastard freezing and all!

We ( Chelsea) supporters were not just locked in when we played in Bordeaux we were ordered to sit down for over 30 minutes after the final whistle and the French Police enforced it ! One or two who stood up were hit with battons on their legs.
They was limited toilets so when we were eventually “ released” just about everyone made a beeline to have a pee but couldn’t get in so pissing in the concourse ( will call it that but it wasn’t more than a brick walled corridor) was the order of the day. When we made our ways to the stadium exit we were pelted with bricks oh joy !

On another occasion when we played Atletico in their old stadium we were told not to walk from the metro but we knew better ! Cough !
As we walked down the AM supporters on the other side of what was a wide road launched a flurry of bottles we were too far away but one stray one smashed a cars windscreen the driver lost control and ploughed into a couple of lads. No major injuries but could easily have been far worse.

On the way to that game on the metro there were dozens of us and indeed AM supporters in a carriage together no hassle but all of a sudden one of our lads shouted out “ Don’t you fuc*ing dare”
Two Romanian pickpockets had targeted the lad but the carriage lurched and he felt a hand in his trouser pocket. Between that point and the next stop where they exited shouting the AM supporters in particular absolutely battered the two.
