PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Exactly.
In UK law surely accusations need proof.
Very little difference between rival fans calling us cheats without proof and the PL doing the same.

There doesn’t seem to be anyone out there countering the view put forward by Stefan from a legal side of things in regards to how difficult it will be for the Premier League to convince a 3 man panel to side with their view of the situation. All they have is opinion which conflicts with the hard information.

If these charges get consigned to the bin there has to be questions why the Premier League pursued this case and the resources thrown into it for well over 4 years.

The redshirts had absolutely nothing to do with it, honest.

This is the key point. What will be the repurcussions for the PL leadership? The UEFA case was dismissed out of hand by CAS because there was "no evidence." Should this happen again after a four/five year investigation surely Masters and his senior team are finished.

Masters and his team are finished completely and they know it , the question would simply have to be asked as to why no other club faced such a forensic level of investigation with no hard evidence to back it up.

City know there is no evidence, that's why they are so uber confident these charges will fail. If in extremis, for the want of argument, such known evidence did exist (it should have been destroyed years ago) and City had been asked to provide it, CIty would not have handed it over which can only ever result in a "none-co-operation" charge which has no sporting sanction, only a financial penalty as I understand it.

This independent commission will be asked to find these charges of rule breaches proven against City based on the same evidence that was put before the CAS justices. For that to happen, in the face of no additional evidence for the PL, would seem very, very, unlikely. Such a perverse finding will almost certainly result in a substantial appeal by City which would also put a huge spotlight on the integrity of the ruling commission members, something on which their very professional existence relies on heavily. I cannot see how that can happen.

Is it conceivable the PL have conducted such a 4 year witch hunt investigation based on no other evidence than those emails, knowing the results at CAS? That they have issued 115 (130) charges against City on such a basis, knowing the likely outcome? As most have surmised should the above come to pass, Masters and his team are finished. The American redshirts will hang him out to dry.

Had a rag at work telling me today we’ve abandoned a transfer because the players agent demanded a relegation clause in the contract. He couldn’t name the player but he was giddy as fuck! I cannot wait for this shit to be over and hopefully shut these dick heads up! Apparently it’s come from that magic hat twat
All the players that signed before last season started must have had relegation clauses in their contracts. I don't think he thought that one through did he.

Stefan does say when talking about charges that we don't fully know what they've got if anything new

Very true it’s all speculation on what’s there, if it’s the same as what Uefa have it’s been played out within CAS and dismissed. If it’s a smoking gun that wasn’t there in 2020 why’s it taken so long for them to charge City and why are City fighting it if it’s some type of a slam dunk?
