PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Well considering he’s actually not leaving the club makes it even more fucking idiotic.
That's true, in fact he has been City spokesman over the years so maybe his diplomacy has been noticed and he is likely to be a future director because of his handling of the media with his football knowledge being now a secondary consideration.

Unfortunately I think you are right Ric but for once I wish we'd stand up to the haters.

The PL, media, SKY, red shirts and no nothing pundits who toe the party line have caused irreparable damage to City's image over these unproven allegations.

I'd like to think that we as City fans are fair minded on the whole and if we thought we'd done wrong we'd hold our hands up..

I personally don't think we have and our chairman thinks likewise..

If we are proven innocent, it's only fair in my book that we should look to persue individuals and / or media outlets who have constantly slagged our good name off without having final proof of our so called guilt..

Pursuing anyone implying guilt after the findings (if we are cleared) is the very definition of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted to me..
Bill , 20 tropies in 10 years stood up to the haters, u cant reason with stupid lord knows ive tried, the best way to stand up to the haters and succeed, a lion does not concern itself with the opinion of sheep.

I’ve had Chelsea Liverpool and rag fans all saying pep’s gone because he knows we are guilty they are all fucking morons
Not that i would advocate reasoning with stupid but ask them why he would go, peps standing in world outweighs everything and all this allegedly happened before he arrived it does not affect him one iota, there is no reason whatsoever.

That fat **** Howson is all over it, fucking shit stain rag prick
That the same fat prick who said he didnt want pep because he wouldnt succeed, honestly the unearned confidence that pricks like howson, goldbridge, robbie etc have is incredible, if i looked like any of them id question leaving the house much less videoing my inane stupidity for people to see.

The problem is that people put too much stock in what they say. They are merely fans with opinions. No different from any of us on here.

I struggle with the notion that the panel could have decided after 3 months but both parties to the proceedings have then taken over 14 months to reach some sort of settlement. Under those circumstances I would expect to hear something not just radio silence. It also appears to the world that the delay is caused by the Independent Panel.

From a City point of view they wont want to be going into a new season with a new manager with this still unresolved. There could also be a 'I was only interested in going to City to play for Pep. That lure has now gone with today's announcement.
Imho, it is an impossible notion.

Even if it was remotely possible, it is completely unsustainable. For one or two months, you could maybe imagine. Sitting on something like that for 16 months? Not a chance imo. Why would the club endure such public innuendo and uncertainty for so long, and think what the consequences for both would be if it ever came out.

Add to that the opinion of lawyers (and not just Stefan) that it is effectively illegal.

And then add furthet that other people with meaningful connections to the club (Ric for example) have pretty adamantly claimed the club know nothing yet, and you really need to Want to believe that the club have sat on having been told and knowing the outcome for all this time.

That's not say they are not confident btw, which they evidently are.

No doubt the snipers will be out shortly but just to be clear again.

- Nobody knows the outcome of the hearing except the panel. Of course, not impossible the draft came yesterday - but as of Wednesday it hadn't
- Parties will have a good feel after the hearing for those issues that were settled one way or the other vs those that it is too hard to tell (will know by the way the panel asked questions, general direction of travel of the hearing, performance of witnesses etc). Some things will have been abandoned, some things emphasised
- It is simply not true at all that the parties were told the nub of the result 3 months after the event or that the club doesn't know (whatever that means) but Khaldoon does - whoever has told Colin that is simply wrong. Personally, I feel persisting with this theory on here is misleading - given we are at June 2026, it couldn't possibly be true even if we didn't KNOW everything else we KNOW. To emphasise, the best City have (Khaldoon or anyone else) is an impressionistic view of how things went and, of course, advice and a deep understanding of how compelling City's own evidence was. Perhaps painful, but even Lord Pannick doesn't KNOW if City defended the most serious allegations aside from the points above
- That the club remains confident and approaching everything as business as usual is self evident
- Pep has not left because of 115
- Even if you don't believe me, Pannick himself has responded here (those emails are real and he would not lie or mislead on Blackstone email) and, as you'd imagine, gets asked about the case when in the outside world. As on email, he does not stonewall any question
- APT is irrelevant to the outcome of 115 partly because it couldn't be pleaded as it wasn't resolved
- No decision can take much longer than 19 months. As I have said we are now deep in outlier territory for any commercial arbitration, disciplinary, piece of litigation - decisions simply are not meant to take this long for the reasons I detailed in yesterday's article. I always warned it would take a long time but never imagined it could be in this extreme category. It is an embarrassment to the panel, completely unacceptable and, as I wrote yesterday, an invitation to challenge the entire process if it goes against one party and they want to challenge it
- From information I had a couple of weeks ago from a very senior Clerk, it does appear that the bulk of the drafting has been completed

This is actually getting a bit scary considering how The Premier League seem to be somehow untouchable.

We’ve all seen with our own eyes what they are capable of doing in plain sight with bent referees and VAR.

We were never going to be allowed win the league this season no matter how well we played.

Instead a team of dirty fuckers have actually won the league without suffering one sending off or conceding one penalty in 38 games and the whole country has had to suck it up.

The amounts of money that are involved with it all are truly eye watering and we are merely onlookers to what is going on.

And the longer it goes on the more sinister it actually becomes.

Just saying like…….
We beaten them twice on the relaterd party's Regulations
Far from untouchable on matters they don't control.

If, as our detractors gleefully claim, Pep’s departure was linked to 115 there’s no way he’d be sticking around as an ambassador for the club.

It’s just hopeful bollocks and smacks of the usual desperation.

If the world is about to come crashing down o no the club, wouldn’t the CEO at Old Trafford be twitchy that he lied on his interview about how close to all this he was during his time at City. If it did happen Omar knows where the bodies are buried, the rag hierarchy pushed on with his appointment. Would they have not carried out due diligence of what the risk and situation was at City if they are appointing someone CEO to a public company?
