    Santa Cruz = Professionalism

He is a model professional off the pitch for sure but lets hope that he can get match fit this season and show us what he can really do on the pitch.

    VDV> Silva

If the deal is completed then it's been an absolute steal for Tottenham.. I still think Silva is/will be a better player but they certainly got a better deal on the price than we did.

So then, the window is shut, are we happy with our business?

Very happy with the players brought in, as mentioned above I'm only disappoint at losing Bellamy as I though he could still have a place in our squad

I agree mate, we should have 7 points especially after our first half performance but considering we had Spurs and Liverpool as the first 2 games we have done well and can only improve as the team gels.

This, we still need time to gel and 5 points in the first 3 games is a solid start to the season.

Mancini is a tactician, he will change the formation if it is needed in the game. All I said was that behind a out and out striker we would create more shots not that I'm doubting Mancini or Tevez. This is a forum where we can all express our opinions so please get down from your high horse.

This exactly, nobody is disputing Tevez is a great goalscorer but his play is very deep and he often looks to lay the ball off to another player rather than shoot himself. In a more supportive role being just behind say Ade we would create more shots on target.

Spot on. Tevez seems to want to be a supporting striker than the out and out scorer.. Oh well so long as he does scores it's all good

Unlucky that one forTevez, Yaya is running the midfield though so we'll have plenty more chances!

    Pantsil...

Lol but on current form Pantsil has a better finish on him than Rooney....

Robinho:-I will continue in Europe, either in Italy or Spain

This is better for city in the long run. We don't need a disruptive lay about when we have talents such as A.Johnson who are willing to bust a gut to prove themselves. So long Robinho..

6 English players on the pitch!

This is great for both City and England and with them all playing playing together in a regular basis it can only mean good things in the future!

    Vincent Kompany

He had an amazing game, it looks as though we have a very solid and consistent young defender for many years to come!
