Indeed it is. It's all as predictable as the next pope being a catholic.

Raheem Sterling - Done - See main forum

Absolutely right. It's been very reminiscent of the Lescott saga, with the scousers playing the hard done by salt of the earth club being assailed by "moneybags" City. They've badly miscalculated.

    Women's World Cup

They've been brilliant, proud of them, which is more than I can say of any England football team for years. Ironic really but at last an England team with some balls.

56 in 76.....not bad, but forgotten now

It certainly was written in the style of the damned United, but I'm amazed that CS wrote it.

56 in 76.....not bad, but forgotten now

That's the gist of what I thought happened. I read it in "Worst of friends" a book about Joe and Mal's time at City. The name of the author escapes me, but it was an excellent read.

    Media bias against City

I actually think that they're still all in denial. They still think that if they ignore us we'll go away, and they'll get the sky big four back.

    City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

GDM is quite right of course, I'm sure that the fine was part of a deal, and we can't reclaim it. He's also right in that it was a battle, but we won the war, and that we don't need the money. But it would be the ultimate embarresment for UEFA. and would for once and for all shup up people like...

Me too, that one up the wing to Silva was a wonder to behold.

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Threa Anyone else seen where they've extended the steps five and a half seats in at the end of the tier 1 rows. At least I assume they've done it all around the ground (I'm right at the 110 end of 109, and they've done it there). According...

    Winning streak

From wikipedia, which in turn is from Gary James - Manchester City - The Complete Record, p509 Most wins in a row: 9, 8 April – 28 September 1912

    Winning streak

It equals our record. set in 1912, I believe. One more to break it. Mind you, you'd never realise we've won nine on the bounce if you took any notice of the media. They're far more interested in scum's winning streak of one.

Was it just me, was the atmosphere great in 111 yesterday?

Re: Was it just me, was the atmosphere great in 111 yesterda Still rocking in the CB then. Last and only time I've been in there was Wigan in the cup, in Pearce's day. His antics in his tech area was the only entertainment as I remember.

    Empty seats on telly suggestion

Certainly the problem in my case. I've had a ST since we moved to COMS (which isn't quite the 15 years I stated, but near enough) and am nearly 200 miles away. I've been there through all the crap, even sat through psycho's last stand and don't think I've missed a game until last season, when...
