I agree, there will inevitabley be some exits unless we get injuries/suspensions...some aint gonna be happy warming the bench, or even not in the match-day squad. Significantly at this point, with the quality we have in all areas, it is important we have the right personalities around - people...

I think Bridge has really improved this season - switched off a few times at the swamp. He certainly has defensive limitations, but is up to it in the prem. With Silvinho and Lescott as cover, don't think Hughes will be exactly desperate to sign a LB, but as I said before, if someone world...

I think we are now in a position to wait to see if any world class players are available and really get the scouts working on any wonderkids that we could snap up. The squad is in good shape IMO and now we have the luxury to "play it by ear". ...arrghhhh...1st post for ages...that feels better!

That's a pretty disappointing sttitude for a blue mate. We have struggled at times this year (and the end of last season) because we don't have the grit in the team. You ask a lot of non-AC fans in Italy if they like Gattuso...I'm sure many hate him...but he bloody wants to win. OK, different...

I think that when Hughes gets the squad he wants, who can play the way he wants, the tactical decisions will (seem to) improve. He has been intent on pressure further up the pitch and at times we have struggled to do that with our current personnel. Let's hope for more than just one more...
