From playing football and being injured myself with numerous knee problems its not hard to keep the weight off if you eat well and do any other exercise possible. If i can do it, then a proffessional should have no problems. I'm not having a go at him, i'm just making an observation.

My god....in the players section pictures MJ looks like hes put on a lot of weight. Hopefully its just a bad picture, however if it isn't, i'd say he has an incredible amount of work to do before next season.

I think alot of the reasoning behind this deal is the fact that umbro is a manchester based brand, rather than purely monetary reasons.

I agree with that team its what i'd put out as well, since it looks quality on paper, but just looking at it the midfield looks mighty small. Sure De Jong is a beast but he's faily short, Barry is the only one there that is at 6 feet. I know this is a big call because i really rate De Jong, but...

SWP and Bellamy would like to argue with that. But apart from that i totally agree, as good as our players are they are relatively new to the english game and a long and hard season takes its toll. I think next year we have a great shot at good things.
