    Making a Murderer

Yeah this is what leaves a really bad taste in your mouth about the whole approach of the yank prosecutors in it. It's an attitude of achieve a conviction at all costs, regardless of what the real story is.

    Making a Murderer

I have to be honest mate, Making a Murderer is one of the best I've seen and the ones I've watched in the past aren't very similar. However, prior to this, the best one I have seen is called 'The Staircase", and is similar in a sense. Without spoiling it, it follows a case in Canada where there...

    Making a Murderer

Totally agree. Just absolute disbelief the whole way through the series on what is going on. I'm addicted to watching all the murder mystery and cold case type programmes from the states, and it's a recurring theme. Another thing I've noticed is that the American juries seem to struggle with...

    Making a Murderer

One of the best documentaries/series I've ever seen I think. Still not sure if he did it or not though either. Not a great advert for the American criminal justice system, incredible what some of them got away with. Probably hundreds of other similar cases across the US every year.

    Watford post match thread

Agree with this, think yesterday could be the boost we needed. Glad Aguero got the winner as well, things are shaping up nicely. Onwards and upwards going forward hopefully.

Were you any good at football at school?

Was shit at football myself, too lazy and couldn't be bothered most of the time. Worst part is having to listen to my mates on a night out reminiscing about how good they were at football when we were younger, and how they all 'could've made it' if they had just stuck at it. All nonsense of...

    The Boxing thread

Agree with most of those but think Eubank might be able to stop Spike, think it will be a KO either way, but leaning towards Eubank. Think Mitchell should beat Barroso but agree about the wars, can't see him ever getting a world belt now.

Agreed, matter of time before Bellew gets found out again.

Yeah think Matthews will be in for a shock when Flanagan gets a hold of him, would love to see a unification match against Crolla, would fancy Flanagan in that as well.

    The Boxing thread

Wish him the best of luck too, and I do hope he can turn it around. I just think he could turn out to be the nearly man who just happened to not quite take his chances when he could've in a weight division that's packed with great talent. It can't be easy when you look at the competition at home...

    The Boxing thread

Agree with this, Groves's confidence must be rock bottom and I just can't see him making it back to the mental place he was in prior to the first Froch fight. Unless he can sneak a shot at a vacant super middle world title somewhere along the line, I can't see him taking any of the current super...

    Must see documentaries..

Another maybe lesser known documentary that I think is got to be one of the best I've seen: The King of Kong - A fistful of Quarters' - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0923752/ Great twists and turns, and the characters in the documentary are brilliant as well.

Old TV Series You Remember Fondly ...

Ain't quite as old school as some of the shows I've seen posted, but loved 'Bad Girls' when I was a younger lad. Jim Fenner was a right evil b*stard in it.

    Must see documentaries..

'Exit Through the Gift Shop' - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587707/ I'm a big documentary fan, and this is one of my favourites. It's by Banksy, his first ever documentary, and it got Oscar nominated. Don't have to be in to street art or that to like it either, it's a great watch.
