Parking Fine - despite paying for parking

I’ve got the proof. The point of the post was that I’ve parked there for games for the past 20 years and now this..looking to see if anyone else has had one and for suggestions for an alternative. Most responses are about how to get out of paying… I won’t be paying as I’ve got a receipt. For...

Parking Fine - despite paying for parking

We park in a car park behind the athletics stadium. Been doing so for many years. I think its on Edwin Road. A fella called Lee manages it. Over the past few years its almost doubled in price. We usually pay at the start of the season. We were informed at the end of last season that it was now...

    Tripe.

My two fellas have tripe every day, along with raw duck, Turkey or beef. It’s untreated and green. Still can’t get used to the smell at 6am every day. It’s like crack to them. They love it….. The spaniel sulks if he doesn’t get his daily fix….

    Dangerous Dogs

They were on leads when they attacked her and her injuries were horrific. One of the owners was elderly and between the two of them they couldn’t stop it. She was a dog lover and there are pictures of their own Labrador (who recently passed away) at their wedding.

    Dangerous Dogs

It was a pair of Rottweilers that attacked and led to the death of my friends wife who passed last week. It’s interesting as all the XL bully headlines have pushed this to one side. It’s had local media and he now has national media hassling him and crackpots trying to get him involved in groups...

    Dangerous Dogs

Any dog can be dangerous. I’ve worked with kids who have shoved their faces into little Yorkshire Terriers and had their lip taken off. It’s about education and responsible ownership. Came out of hospital last week to hear that my friends wife had been attacked by two dogs. They were on lead but...

    Pictures of your Dog

been in and out of hospital a lot recently and my mate Clyde (and the other furry terrorist …Ossie) are keeping me going… no energy to walk but Clyde just sits and watches the world with me. He likes watching the ships come and go. I’d be a bit lost without them both…

Champions League Final | Useful Information

I use EE and sorted it with them. The £7.89 is for a pass that allows 1gb usage per day and kicks in automatically when you land in Turkey. The £2.29 is the European pass fee. Turkey is not in the EU, same as us.

Real Madrid (H) Ticket Info | SOLD OUT

What an absolute shambles. Got home early. Looking forward to the game. Realised that my pass was showing as the Chelsea game and then checked for any emails. Half the fan base that have shown loyalty with being on the cup schemes are now pissed off and worrying about whether or not they will...

FA investigate Arsenal fans after bottles thrown at KdB

It wasn’t just a plastic beaker. There were a few bottles too that were more weighty. One hit the corner flag and almost took it out. One flew past his head. One of those hits him in the head it is a problem.

    #sophiefromromania

I have been following Sophie’s progress. Some strange comments in this thread, not just about dogs . Sometimes people rescue animals to help rescue themselves. This is our beautiful boy Clyde. He was rescued with his sister Bonnie from Crete. Both left in a sealed cement bag and dumped in a dry...

    How the Holocaust Began

If anyone is interested in a definitive account of the history and lead up to the holocaust, The Holocaust by Martin Gilbert is probably the most definitive. I was cared for as a kid by a survivor from from Auschwitz, she was a political prisoner. She saw a lot of unspeakable things. I’ve been...

Urgent help/advice with mental health issue.

That’s my point. With this horrible illness it’s care and supervision and there is little a GP can do.

Urgent help/advice with mental health issue.

I didn’t think I was on my high horse. I totally empathise as I said. I am being realistic about what GPS can do with people suffering from dementia. No offence meant, I have been there and understand. Genuine question, what is it that you think the GP can do for your loved one?

Urgent help/advice with mental health issue.

They usually ask the on call AMHP to assess. They are part of the mental health teams and work in the local authority emergency duty teams. Police haven’t the skills or powers to assess who need to be sectioned.
